    Default Bad Clubs

What are some bad clubs that you have been to and what made them bad?

    Ive been to clubs that:
-had no DJ. The manager just plugged a radio into a sound system and left it on a station
-had crappy dancers. Im talking about dancers that were either way too pushy for lap dances or didnt even make an attempt at all to sell dances. I swear I went to a club where the dancers just sat together at a table together and talked. The only time they would get up was to get on stage or when a guy would walk up to one and ask for a dance.
-had bad service. One club had waitresses that would take your drink order but you wouldnt get it until an hour later. Another club had waitresses that wouldnt do shit. It was like they were getting paid to sit around.

I worked in a club without a DJ. I kinda liked it. We had one of those jukeboxes, so we could pick our own music and just created our own rotation.

There was a club in Vegas (I think it was called Babydolls), that had school desks for seats! That was awhile ago though.

The last club out here had a crap stage. Tiny with a wooden floor. If you did floor work, no one could see you..lol

Definitely hate clubs with bad customer service and bitchy dancers too. Far too many of those clubs.

I worked at a couple clubs without a DJ. One of these was so awful and the joke was you had to be obese and over 50 to work there. Ironically I made money there because I was pretty, thin and young. One club had a jukebox but you didn't have to pay it.

Related to this but I worked a couple clubs with awful DJ's. Being a DJ is a skill and you have it or you don't. These DJs shouldn't have been working because they'd play the wrong song, play it midway through the song, or even worse play your music for other dancers without your permission. This was my pet peeve.

Clubs with strict rules. I once auditioned at a club where they told you when you could take a break and all the things you had to do and couldn't do. This particular club also had a high house so I turned it down. I did work at a few other clubs with somewhat strict rules and only worked there because the money was good.

Dancers who shouldn't have been dancers. I worked at a mid level club where the manager started getting greedy moneywise and hired anyone who came in. This club turned into a dive with these new dancers. Did I mention that many of the new dancers were whores on top of it? Yep, they were literally whores, as in they were streetwalkers looking for johns. I had to quit this club because the money dried up when these dancers came in.

Bad employees. Unfortunately I've worked with many bad managers who were there only to get laid. They never should have been working there. I also worked a club where the bouncers were too busy hitting on the dancers. I will say though most of the bouncers and DJs I worked with were good but the bad ones were really bad.

How about clubs where the manager tries to fuck you after work?

I have worked one shift in Virginia Beach at a jukebox club. It was horrible. I also hate clubs with pool tables. They attract the most annoying type.

I got fired from a club because I refused to fuck the manager. While I did date a bouncer (we parted as friends) and a DJ (I still hate him because he did bad things) the idea of ever sleeping with a manager or dating one replused me.

I worked at a club out here for like 2 nights where they only allowed one girl in the dressing room at a time. We had to turn on this stupid light. I went up there once when there was already a girl in there and the manager tried to fine me.

    Retarded!

That's bad but have heard stories like that. I worked at a club where only two girls could be in the dressing room but they didn't fine us. It's a way for them to make even more money off the dancers. One club had a policy where the dancer had to hold the customers hand to the VIP area or she got fined a certain amount. Very bizarre.

I didn't get fired, but I got propositioned. I am so grossed out and disgusted. IT JUST HAPPENED THE OTHER DAY. I am now unemployed and taking it to the cams. I can handle being groped, but not that. I still want to throw up. THIS is the reason why I will not be drinking at work again. I love dancing. Hopefully I will be able to find a club when I move that doesn't make us do schedules with minimums.

I guess we have this new rule starting where if we're just sitting on our asses, we'll get charged for a dance anyway.
Which, actually, I think will motivate girls more. Rather than bitching and yelling in the DR.

Just sucks, because there are moments when I REALLY don't wanna talk to anyone. Or I just need a "break"....so we'll see how this goes.

Yea, dancer's choice dances suck!! Basically it's to see if the guy you are sitting with is going to spend money or like you said, to motivate girls to get off their asses and ask. If I'm not feeling it then I just go around the room and half ass ask the guys for dances. The worst that can happen is they'll say yes. LOL

I've been to clubs in the past year where:

    - Guys had to line up for dances... like we were an amusement park ride. We weren't allowed to hustle/ask/insinuate dances

    - Two different clubs had children (one about 4 years old the other about 7-9 years old) in them during open hours

    - Two different clubs the managers said the champagne room was a "don't ask don't tell policy"

    - There was a shooting the night after I left the club

    - The "regulars" got busted for dealing coke
    Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

How do children get inside a strip club? Were they one of the dancers kids?

That's how I do it during feature dances and last call dances. I just walk around asking anyone if they want a 2 for 1...not even really trying...lol

One night I was dancing, and I had guys lined up waiting to dance with me. That was back when I was 19 and money was good...that was awesome!

I've seen kids in the club twice out here. One girl just walked in with her daughter and started talking about her schedule with the manager. There were even a couple of guys in the club....

Happened at Crazy Horse Too back in Vegas before. Except she didn't bring her on the floor. Brought her daughter back to show her off to the house mom and the girls.

Been lucky enough to never have been in a club when shooting have happened, but have definitely heard about them.

Yeah, that's close to how my home club works. The DJ controls breaks, and you have to ask him to go for a smoke. Luckily I don't smoke, so that doesn't bother me.

But, he also walks into the dressing room about 100 times a night and kicks out all of the dancers. Since taking a small break in the DR is the only way I take breaks, that tends to piss me off.

One was the bartenders son, who was brought in before we were actually closed. The other was the club owner's daughter while we were open... thankfully I didn't get called to stage but I was beyond pissed!

I get guys lined up a lot... but this was different because we couldn't hustle them at all. The club literally had metal stanchions w/ the thick velvet rope set up for the customers to make a line. The club staff at the front of the line would find the dancer of the customer's choice & let her know she had a dance.
