    Default Stripper to singer?

Though I just started stripping, I'm already thinking of other ways of acquiring income. I'm also saving money to do what I really want to do! My question is: Have any of you ever moved on to other professional "entertainment" fields that rely on a lot of publicity? I'm trying to figure out how to go about this without stripping possibly tainting(?) my chances of becoming a wedding/event singer. Is there a way to separate the two occupations? Sometimes I wish strippers didn't have such a bad rap... haha else I'd totally find a way to collaborate the two *Stripper singer/dancer anyone?*

I'm sorry that I don't have anything helpful to add, but I just wanted to say that I hope you do follow your dreams and do very well. It's always been my dream to sing as well.

And yes, I agree that it's a shame the way some people badmouth strippers.

    HI,
My main profession was singing. Did weddings, events, cruise ships then toured the world singing, did a lot of studio work and demos. Got my degree in audioengineering and communications. HA, and now am webcaming. I still am in the music industry . The people I sing for do not know I cam. There is no reason they need to know. I tend to be around country/religious folks. AND if a lot of them found out, well, guess I would turn hiphop!!!. And, there is no reason you can't book yourself as a wedding entertainer etc. and a lovely stripper!
If you want to go farther, like become the next Celine dion, hmmm.... GO FOR IT! Keep the two apart if that is what you feel is good for you or go be the next Lady Gaga. It is truely up to you and how you feel comfortable portraying yourself.

if you have any questions, feel free to PM me.
