    Default wearing a wig (blonde)

Ok, so I have really long chestnut coloured hair and I'm not about to cut it off/dye it cos I love it too much. But, was thinking that if I do sign up on streamate to give it a go, I might want to use a different persona because I want to keep my regs on my other sites. Also, it's fun to switch things around a bit sometimes

Was just wondering if anyone had experience of wearing a wig to cam. Obviously dark wigs look more natural, but I was thinking of buying a (decent) blonde wig as my hair is naturally on the brunette side of things. I've worn wigs before (bob wigs and mid length) for general wear and on stage (purely hobby not prof) but I am concerned that a long wig might be awkward and slip when rolling around on the bed! Any experience? Advice?
    Thanks!

    Thank you!

Edit - removed link and negative comment. My opinion stands, but I don't want to harm anyone's business, particularly if they are taking an interest in improving it.
Have found a couple of wigs that I do like at other places though and will def look into that ebay store some more.

I used to wear wigs all of the time, not so much anymore now.
Wear a hat/bandana over your wig and NOBODY will be able to tell! Also, if you are doing any crazy dance moves, etc like I do on cam, make sure you make a tiny french braid on the front of your scalp, secure the wig to it and it will not slide or move anywhere!!!

CyberStripper - that braid idea is Ace! will definitely be using that one

Jess - good to know that you've had success with it If you've managed it dancing then I'm sure I can find one to wear on cam. I haven't been up to Blackpool for ages. I lived in Lytham when I was a teenager and used to spend a lot of time in Blackpool. I think the first time I ever stripped was in the Tower Lounge for a free bottle of something cheap and fizzy lol. I miss it

blackpool is dying a death for dancing now, the council hate them and are trying there best to close them, i think theres only 3 lapdancing clubs left.

But if u do go, saints and sinners sells everything, shoes, domination gear, toys, lube, stockings, underwear, sexy lil outfits, wigs, and the wigs are reasonable prices, mine was £35 and it fooled ppl, so deffo be fine on cam

i even managed to wear it on the pole when i danced and it didnt move, i wore it with a white head band, just to be sure lol.
    I like cyberstrippers idea too

only problem i have is when u get hot and sweat, ur head itches lol.

wigs are GREAT! I have quite a few to wear on cam and often I find I have different "personalities" to go with each one. Men love it

People are always asking if I'm wearing a wig in chat, I guess because I have dead straight hair & blunt bangs. But guys are stupid, I would totally get a wig that made my hair look really thick & full of volume. Who buys a wig to make it look like they have straight, fine hair? ;p

I'd like to try some wigs though to try out different hair colours without having to risk colouring my hair a bad colour.

Yeah, that's what I want to do - go blonde and bouncy waves cos I wear my hair straight and it doesn't have much volume

Hey Becky... I'm naturally blonde, but I used to dye my hair black. I started to be a camgirl with long black hair but, after a while, my hair was a mess and I just couldn't dye it anymore so I cut it really, really, REALLY short! I'm on IFriends too by the way... Then, I went on for 2 night with my short hair and noticed it didn't bring much attention to me as my long hair would do. So I started using a blonde wig... Most members can't notice (some can 'cause, duh, I had black hair before). But I feel that after 5 or 6 hours wearing the wig, my head starts to hurt! Do you feel that girls?

I normally do split shifts so hopefully I'll be able to wear it for three hours without it getting too hot. Maybe you need to get a slightly bigger size if it's actually hurting though?

It's really really great to hear so many girls have had success with them - I'm looking forward to making my new persona so much now!
    Thanks ladies!!!

yes i feel it hurt after 3 hours... i take a break, massage my head for 10 mins and after put it back. I love massage my head, its helpful for the pain and for the natural hair growing

For buying wigs I've been using hairsisters.com and clairhair.com I LOVEEEEEEEEEEE how these sites have customer ratings/pics/vids! really helps when trying to decide on what to get. ooo and I also use YOUTUBE to search for specific wigs etcc so you have a ideal for what it looks like, moves etcccccc.

*clairhair is offering ground shipping starting @ 1.99!(i believe it's for usa only not sure though) and I noticed both sites almost always have stuff priced half off! My last lace front was pirced orginally at $64 but was on sale for $29 and I had a 5 dollar coupon so it ended up costing around $23-24 with shipping

Darn, my first night caming with my wig, it kept wanting to fall off, geez. I hate the wig, but I have really thin hair so it is hard to do the braid or clip it on to anything. I like wigs that aren't too heavy also, so i can dance without it pulling back (I am NOT a wig expertLOL)... One day it is gonna come off HA

I wear wigs, for camming. First off, my hair is short cut and purple. I really dont think people are gonna $$$$ for that, so I keep it long for the fantasy.

Yay - I'm so relieved that other people use them regularly. PPG - I would love purple hair - I had it when I was a teenager (Damson) and loved it but I wouldn't dare cut/dye it now cos it's taken me sooo long to grow. Bet you look gorgeous with it!

This is my website Becky and I am wondering why you think some of the models / wigs look ridiculous? I sell lots of wigs and because I buy direct from the manufacturer, I make my own marketing pictures. Is it the wigs or the models that you think does not look good. Please reply, your comments will be most useful. I am not taking any offence because I really will value your opinions. I look forward to hearing from you
