Default Short hair - will it help or hinder me?

I'm considering cutting my hair short again, but I'm worried about the fact that most boys prefer longer hair. I know there are also plenty of guys who like short hair on girls, but if the majority like longer hair, then perhaps going short will work against me in the club.

Short hair definitely suits my face, there's no doubt about that, so I will look nice. I also have a fantastic hair dresser, so she'll do a great job. I still have the worry about how it'll affect my earnings, though.

    Thoughts, please?

I would definitely keep it long for business plus it cuts years off your age. Short hair women look older to me. Men definitely love long hair because it's feminine and it's something to play with. I've had long hair all my life, I don't look good without it anyway. just my opinion.

For the most part... longer is better.

If you want short hair... and your hustling skills are very good... then it's not so much of a problem.
But as a rule... things are generally easier with longer hair.
Even for me personally. And I greatly prefer short over long.

I actually tend to look younger with shorter hair. I'm _tiny_, and a little pixie-cut seems to suit my smallness, if that makes sense. I'm really tempted to do it. I think I can carry it off.

I'm still interested in what others have to say, though. *still thinking*

true, if youre already tiny and petite, short hair will keep you young, but like little girl young, if you want to attract pedophiles, lol

i agree with others... go with longer hair... longer hair always been sexier and more feminen. short haired girls look less feminen and attractive for me when i compare with someone long hair. Maybe u should put pictures and we can tell u which one is best..When i have longer hair i feel sexier ... i have medium length hair ... i use extensions mostly and i feel ansolutly amazing! longer hair ;great make up and heels absolutly changes my posture!

I have medium length hair-somewhere between my chin and shoulder. Yeah I guess my hair is somewhat considered "short".

I think one exudes more confidence when they feel good about how they look. What sells many men on dances is a smiling face and good attitude. Someone that feels comfortable with themselves.

I have had the same length hair for most of my dancing career. Its never been a problem and I did not notice much difference when I had long hair.

It's all about your face, if u have the face to pull it off go for it. I alternate VERY short and long, and the short hair makes me stand out. During the week I play if safe with the long hair but on weekends when working with hundreds of other girls the short hair makes me unique and that makes me more money. Short hair gives off confidence, u really have to be comfortable with the way you look to not be hiding behind pounds of extensions like most girls

Short hair almost never works. There are a very few that can pull it off, but even they almost always look better onstage with longer hair.

I've seen maybe 5 girls that could really make it work better with shorter hair, without question, in ten years. Mind you that is in a stripclub setting, in the 'real world' there are a lot more. But they aren't going onstage and trying to please a bunch of drunk horny guys looking for fantasy girls.

eh. depends on your looks, your personality, your hustle, the club you're at, the outfits you wear, the girls you work with (an even mix or do they all have long hair, etc)

if you really want to know how it'll effect you, get a wig. short ones aren't that expensive, and you wouldn't even need a really nice one since club lighting makes everything look a bit weird anyways. better than cutting it and needing extensions for a couple years while it grows out. you know?

i have very long hair, and i've gotten more rooms with it up in a clip than i've gotten with it down. it's been great for stage money, but never helped with dances or rooms. and i'd end up having to comb it out a few times. guys will rub on it and get it tangled. it'll smell like strip club, and i can't wash it more than twice a week max, so i've got to smell the club 24/7. it takes forever to dry. if i weren't so emotionally attached to it, i'd chop it short. i think i'd look good with short hair.

I find that long hair does turn more heads and gets people to move on dances quicker, because my overall look is more polished and fits the Barbie persona. Do I like feeding in to this stereotype? No, but I need to people please others as opposed to myself in a SC. So, I play it safe.

With that said, I have worn my real hair before and it's shoulder length. I have even worn it wet and curly, which makes it look alot shorter. I've worn my hair in a wrap, and, on occasion, slapped on a phony pony, etc. It's all about attitude. My body was in much better shape then, and turned heads without the hair factor.

Nowadays, with the recession and all, I can't take the risk! I have even added bangs to my half-wig ensemble, which, I think, softens my look. Most times, I rarely speak and just walk up smiling, sticking my chest out. Do what you gotta do. Many girls don't know why I won't wear my real hair to work. They think it looks great, but I'm so use to dressing up now that I won't go in to work without getting divafied.

If you do go short, rock it out. Otherwise, conform.

I had short hair for a long time and I actually never danced with it. The other girls always said I should but I had a good wig. It was about $60 if I remember correctly and had a "scalp" that matched my skin tone so the part looked real. The only downside was it got really hot!

Customers are too stupid to tell when it isn't your real hair, plus the lighting is dim... I never had anyone notice it was a wig except other dancers in the dressing room.

If you want to cut your hair short you should do it. Try dancing with it and if you aren't doing well get a good wig and you'll be fine!

I would def. buy a few good quality wigs before going really short. I have short bobbed hair that I keep anywhere from just past my chin to halfway to my shoulders and anytime I go shorter than that my money suffers. I think that the only reason I even continue to make money with shorter hair (usually, at least, stupid Florida seasonality) is because I'm a red head. So I wear wigs when I want to go shorter.

A handful of men have a fetish for short hair but the vast majority like it longer and many will even flat out refuse a girl with short hair. I've heard numerous nasty comments about girls with short hair, even if it's a fab pixie cut that looks great, and every girl I've known with short hair has eventually grown it out, switched to wigs, or just settled for making poor money.

Do try it, though, you may be the exception to the rule! But we're working to be a fantasy, not a reality; what we like is generally irrelevant to what they want.

I always made more money with long hair. In fact I had a few customers with a long hair fetish.

I had a very short, black pixie cut when I started dancing. I did well with it. That being said, I'm sure there was some customer at some time who turned down a dance because of the short hair.

I did even better with long hair. My higher earnings aren't just attributable to the hair-- I was also a more experienced entertainer. However, I found that I just feel sexier and more confident with longer hair.

If you're positive you can pull it off and be confident with it, I say go for it. Just realize that it may not be every customer's cup of tea.
