    Default NYC dancers-working Sept 11?

This will be my 1st 9/11 in NYC, I'm torn on whether to go into work or not. What have you more experienced dancers seen about this in the past? I feel like I might be overthinking it-maybe it won't affect business at all...then again, I had no idea how much the Jewish new year would slow things down!

Well, I work just over the Hudson in Northern Jersey, and tonight was pretty quiet for a Friday. I don't know if 9/11 had anything to do with it though..hell, NYC clubs may do pretty well tomorrow. People will need something to get their minds off of it after all the memorials, you know?

Thanks for the input! Yesterday was fashion's night out, which I think kind of destroyed people's normal going out patterns-traffic was totally gridlocked all over Manhattan, at any rate. Hopefully today will be lovely, though!

i wouldn't expect it to be very good. not because people have a problem personally going to a strip club. they just wouldn't want other people knowing that they went to a strip club on 9/11.

Don't worry, it's almost the busy season for NYC We just have to get past the late summer slump.
