Default Ideas for stretching out new shoes?

Hey girls, total newbie here who just got a pair of Pleaser Kiss shoes in hopes of auditioning on Monday ( ). While they fit great overall, my wide toes get squeezed to death in them. I can seriously only keep them on for like 10 mins before things start going purple. I know they'll take a while to break in, but is there anything I can do to kind of help stretch them a little faster? I've been trying to heat up the upper part with a hairdryer and then put them on, but so far I'm not really getting anywhere. Any ideas?

Or would I be better off returning these and going with a different brand?

Ooh I have shoes similar to those. I find Pleasers can be a little narrow for my wide feet. I had a pair of shoes that was too tight in the toe but they were clear plastic so I cut them a bit to make the toe opening larger. That might not work with these shoes though... Do the hairdryer thing and then yank on them with your hands to try and stretch them out.

I always put them on my feet and blowdry the plastic part but I leave my feet in the shoes until they cool off. Then they will mold to your feet. And also as you wear them more, they will shape to you. Maybe even after one shift.

Okay, after a couple more hairdryer sessions and a lot of yanking at them, they're fitting a little bit better. Still really tight, but better.

Thank you, ladies, for your help!

Put wet newspaper in them till theyre full and let it dry, that stretches shoes.

A good shoe shop sells shoe stretchers. These are essential with leather shoes. I the shoes are leather a little saddle soap or glycerine too.

get ellies. i have a wide toe box too. i can manage pleasers, but ellies are so much more comfortable.

tight shoes are a cyclical problem. they constrict your blood flow, which makes your feet swell a bit, which makes the shoes feel tighter and constrict blood flow more...etc.

wear them with sport socks around the house for a little while, practice dancing in them too. the hairdryer thing works too, but i've had some shoes split from over heating them. good luck at your audition

Girls who tend to have wider feet seem to say that about pleasers. I hear ellie is good, many girls who seem to dislike pleasers, tend to love ellie.. and other way around. I rememer my first pair hurt a lot... I wore socks to work, those long knee socks to strech them out and walk a lot.. it took about a week to make them comfy. If they still hurt after a month,, try Ellies.. or shoes that have the clear part on top, those never hurt me and seem to stretch w/o any help.

^ i have a pair of clear-top pleasers, and they can still be way too tight sometimes. i find them a lot more comfortable if i'm able to take them off for a couple minutes every hour or so in the dressing room. which doesn't work great on busy nights. in this economy, you gotta work when there's money to be made.

a pair of clear-top ellies i've got can actually feel too loose sometimes, because i've had them so long. once i walk around a bit, my food expands a little (it's what all feet do) and they fit perfectly, but when i first put them on they could slip right off.

By far the best advice for strappy heels. I have broad feet and I model high heels. Although 'Pleaser's' are usually better for my feet, some of their strappy ones are tight - and I use high heeled shoe stretchers to ease them.

Just Google 'high heeled shoe stretchers' and you'll find lots. About $30.00 will get you a good pair.

Hair Dryer and then I shove a beer bottle to keep the shape until I wear them. I put beer bottles in all of my plastic shoes.
