Just like a crimper. I love mine. They are pretty neat. Not tiny kinks like crimping.

Yeah. Supposed to be used just for crimping... you -can- use them for normal curling... but it's a pain in the ass and way more work than just using a normal curling iron.

Yes crimping. I have one but do not know the magical way to make the soft waves instead of a contrived crimped look.

    Advice plz!

After crimping or three barreling your hair, for a softer look, use a soft bristle brush and just brush your hair.

I do not brush, it seems to make mine frizz up, what I do is mist my hair down with a spray bottle and scrunch the waves to tousle and loosen thme up a bit! Try either or and see what works best

BTW for the person who said U Can actually curl with this iron, how do u do it??? I am tempted to wrao my hair around it like an actual curling iron, but I am afraid the results will be hineous! hahah

I have a head full of waves and I use this iron to enhance my waves buttt

It helps if the night before I put my hair up in two pigtail braids, one on each side of my head. You can let ur hair loose, MIST IT, let it dry. THEN crimp the sections near your head, or the ones that need help. Mist again, done in 20 mins or less!!!
