Holy crap the low season in FL (central east/west to south) is fucking insane! It's pretty much half of the year is great and the other half sucks ass! The selection of big clubs to accommodate a lot of dancers is almost non-existent. And the tip-out at most clubs is ridiculous (10% dj & $x amount manager) ... didn't experience shit like this in Vegas. Add all this up and now I understand why the FL dancers I met back home and locally are b*tches ... hell I'd be a bitch too if I lived and worked in this type of condition all year round.
This is not to say there isn't money to be made during the low season, but the term "hit or miss" is definitely the motto here.
And in my experience working from central east & west to south, the people (not only in the club), culture, attitude and club environment is dramatically different.
If any dancer is curious about FL come here ONLY during season. The downside is accommodations are expensive ... so plan wisely.
Hope this helps other dancers looking into FL. I'm not a FL girl but heed my warning and heed the warning of FL dancers ... not all of them are haters ... they're just telling you like it is.
Feel free to pm me if you have specific questions that you don't want to post publicly. I'm happy to help other dancers![]()
