Default Ran across this article about taxes.

I noticed a lot of new girls are trying out camming lately.

I ran across this article while I was looking something else up and it really explained taxes and deductions very well without all the accounting lingo. It's geared towards artists/theatre workers but comes very very close to the kind of things we can deduct (home office, computers, electric, outfits).

    Might help someone out.

Interesting. I would love to see in writing where he says if you make less than 250 a job you don't have to claim it. I wonder if that would apply to camming and stripping?

Yes, it does. That's per club, though, or per website, or per studio (basically, per COMPANY) per year.

I always end up claiming the little ones, though, like if I only work at a club for 1 day I still claim the income just to cover my ass. I don't want the IRS to think I'm doing all these little odd jobs without claiming them just because they could prove I didn't claim a couple. It takes a few more minutes when I'm filing and like an extra $200 a year (which is fair for an extra $1,000 put together) to save myself an audit.
