Dizzy Selling VIPs/Champagne Dances for the dancers

My entire job at my club is to try to sell Champagne rooms to guys for the dancers. The minimum price is $295. $95 goes to the house and the rest to the dancer for an hour dance, bottle of champagne and a plate of crackers cheese and fruits. They are private sky boxes with flat screens and a view over the entire club.

Any advice on how to sell these for the dancers considering I can't really seduce the guy due to that I'm not the one who will be with him up there the whole time and that I will only be their waitress?

I only make $20 commission for selling the room and whatever the guy tips me, but I guess that's what I get for just being a waitress.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

i'm not really sure. but i will say that you've probably got an easier job than the dancers do. it'll be a ton easier for you to sell rooms than it is for them, since a lot of guys distrust dancers, but will trust staff.

pay attention to girls who help hustle for tips for you, and hustle for tips for them too. a dancer can suggest a guy give you a good tip (for more privacy, lol) and if she helps you make more money, you'd better do your damnedest to help her make more too. if someone asks for a recommendation, recommend the girls who tip you well, not just because you'll make money, but because they've hustled for you and now it's your turn.

always assume the guy wants the room. always assume he wants to extend his time. always act like he's picked the hottest, sexiest girl. always act like she's a ton of fun and maybe a little naughty, even if she's the cleanest girl there.

get friendly with the girls and don't be afraid to talk to them about hustling guys together. if you work together, you'll be making damn good money yourself.

Sometimes the champagne rooms work out to be cheaper than an hour straight of dances. If that is true for your club then mention it to the customer.

You can also tell them that the champagne rooms take the dancer off the rotation list so it's just the two of them without any interruptions. Plus it's a lot more quiet & private in the back, so they can get to know each other better.

Do mention what is included... the cheese & fruit tray is pretty unique so I'd hype that up & know the type of champagne being served.

Kinda off topic but I gotta say that $295 for an HOUR w/ a dancer, a bottle of champagne and a cheese/fruit/cracker tray is an amazing deal for these customers! We have a HALF-hour room at my club that costs the customer $300 and there's absolutely no drinking in that room and they don't get any free food. No wonder your sole job is to sell these rooms guys must buy a lot of em huh

is there girl there when u try to sell them if not i would tell the guy most girls just try to get dances cuz they make more that way but its a better deal if they get the cr room they get the drink the food more private a view of the whole club make it sound like your helping the guy out but i would make sure u ask the dancers to ask the guy to tip you and u do the same for her and let her know how you will be selling the room ive never had that job but that would be how i did it

this. but i wouldn't hype the food. mention it as something that's included, but i've never had a guy who was impressed by a fruit and cheese tray. and a lot have seemed to think it was unnecessary and just added in to make the club seem fancier than it was. especially since the cheese is almost always cheap crap. i'm not even into cheese, and even i can tell the difference between expensive cheese and the cheap kind. and the fruit is usually nothing special either.

once upon a time, people felt really fancy going out to eat at red lobster or olive garden. now those places have had to become affordable family dining. luxury is a lot more luxurious, and anyone who can afford a champagne room probably knows it.

Agreed. Although the food can be considered a fun addition to the room ("you two can enjoy some fruit and cheese together") I would focus on the money-saving aspect.

My home club doesn't serve alcohol, but I've worked in New Orleans so I have worked in clubs with this arrangement--CRs being sold by staff instead of directly by the dancers.

I had some issues with this, mostly because I am used to hustling my own sales. I don't particularly trust someone else to "do the job" for me since I have to rely on MY hustling to feed myself and anything beyond that. I'll highlight some issues I saw firsthand since I have worked in both situations (hustling your own VIP vs a CR being sold for you) so that you can maximize your closing rate and make friends.

First off, too many times did I see the doorman hype up a room I knew full well this person didn't want/couldn't afford. (Mind you, these rooms ranged from $250-$10,000). I found it easier to hustle the room at my table and be specific with the doorman about the rooms I wanted the client to see based on their price range/wants/needs. While it is advisable to always try to maximize profit, a hint of realism in the midst of your pursuit would be sensible. Ask the dancer what rooms she would prefer to show him, which may allow her to narrow the tour based on her perception of the money available. If the customer wants to see more expensive rooms because he's used to luxury then he won't hesitate to tell you that. Too often did I see my doorman make the "cheaper" room (which was by no means cheap--$800 is NOT cheap) seem obsolete and boring. I actually lost sales altogether because they made it seem like if you spent under 5k you were going to be in the Roach Motel with a toothless hooker.

Another important part of your sales technique should be including the dancer in the experience. Too often did the doorman forget to include me in any part of the tour, and many times he cut me off and shot me a dirty look for trying to speak up to add my input. Ask the dancers questions like "didn't you say this was the comfiest bed/couch" or "didn't you say this looks like your bedroom at home", little things to personalize the experience. You aren't selling a TV, you're selling an intimate experience between two people at a base level, so treat it with the dignity it deserves.

I think it's important that you remember that you will make enemies fast with the dancers if you are fucking with their hustle, and ultimately their money. You should view yourself as an accent to the dancer, and work with her to make the sale. This means reading body language, using your own body language, eye contact, hand signals if need be, code words--anything. If you are good at what you do then you will get tipped well over time from these girls because they will appreciate the help.

    I hope this helps!
