Right, so after having a break from dancing for a few months (new bf/moving to a new place etc) i went to audition at a club in my new city. It was a gown club and ive never worked at one of those before so i skipped out to buy myself a gown and arrived at the club about £50 lighter than i was earlier.
There were four girls auditioning, arrived, went thru all the rules with the manager, got changed, felt like i looked good, sat around with the new girls, chatted with the other dancers, then came my turn on the pole, all fine, no problems apart from an initial few stumbles to do with a shorter pole than i was used to!
SO after the audition i got called to the managers office, told that he was happy to take me on, i did well etc, but that there was a waiting list of a week and a half to two weeks before i could start work, this is my main worry, ive never heard of a waiting list before?? I know sometimes it can be a week before first shift due to girls already being booked in, but im confused! If they didnt want me surely they would have said thanks but no thanks?? Am i being over sensitive?? Its my bf freaking me out cause he was the one who put it into my mind first that i was being possibly brushed off!
I have to wait for a call of the house mum which should come in the next few days...im hoping cause i need to go back to dancing for my sanity!!
Anyone have any thoughts or experience of this??
xx
