Default How do you use SW?

Do you search for certain posts by certain users right away?
Do you just click on the latest topics?
Do you go to your favorite section first?

For me, I always check the latest topics first.
I like to post in newer stuff...I guess....
I don't really like posting in threads that have a million pages because there's usually a discussion already going on. Unless, I have something to add...

If nothing really "sparks my interest", I'll go to my settings and see what threads I posted in to see if anyone replied.

I guess I'm more of a "random poster".

I also never really read all the pages or all the posts in threads. Sometimes, but not all the time....more so than not. That's bad.
Unless it's really interesting, but I lost interest easy and some stuff is really long....I have mild ADD I think... :/
However, that whole drama thread in "other work", I did read. I was bored, and it was entertaining.

I always check out picture post, because I like seeing everyone.

    Are you an advice giver?
    A random poster?
    A master debator!? (lmao) :p
    more of a lurker??

    What are your favorite threads?
    Threads that give advice?
    Random threads?
    Question threads?
    Polls?

Sorry, just curious...and waiting to go to work.

When I sign in I always click on the New Posts button and see where the action is. I'll glance down the list and just click on the first interesting one I come to. If I'm on for a while, and have read the most interesting stuff, then I'll look for favourite members posts and click on them.

There's no telling where I'll comment, but it usually happens if something pops into my head that I feel like expressing. I try to be funny or helpful...occasionally I'm just mischievous. I guess I'm a "random poster" too.

i check the same few sections every day, sometimes a couple times a day and read a lot. I reply to ones that either amuse me or that I feel I can add something to. Or when someone says something I find really funny, really stupid, or really annoying.

I have posted all sorts of things from advice to the equivalent of " fuck you, you're an idiot". Mostly advice or just comments.

I love threads that either are 'omg look at the drama in my life' types (because drama can be interesting if it does not involve me), or advice/question threads (as i love reading everyones point of view).

I do sometimes click on a thread simply because i know it is from a member that I know tends to post interesting stuff.

sometimes i click on a thread simply because it is by a member that i think posts total bs and i find it amusing to see what they are saying now.

I check various sections but the off topics are where I am most active. Since I am a retired club dancer I lurk there to give advice, but don't really need advice. I don't really have a favorite poster but some people annoy me to no end (like any forum).

I go to my settings first. If nothing interesting there then check new posts.

I'll post pretty much anytime I have something to say... sometimes advice, sometimes pointless banter, sometimes just a rant. I see SW like a dairy sometimes. Good to get emotions out of the head and onto the computer.

I like to read body business threads mainly because health, medicine, beauty are all massive interests of mine. I like to perve on the picture posts but dont comment very often, mainly because there are so many and Im lazy LOL. But they are always hot. I like to give some newbie advice but sometimes it is so basic that it bores me.

I always use the New Posts menu item and look for topics that strike my interest. Generally something related to experiences at a club, questions about a club, or dancer/customer interactions. Dont post all that much, would do so more often but some topics of interest are off-limits to customers. In that case I'll sometimes PM the OP.

Rarely use the search function, it doesn't seem worthwhile as info becomes out of date quickly. Will sometimes do the search all posts by a member function to look for recent posts by certain posters but this is only a handful that I've exchanged PMs with. Tend to prefer the questions and polls, I'm less looking for advice and more inclined to contribute where it might be worthwhile.

I check out body business first, usually looking for skin care tips and boobie pics
I also occasionally do a search for Seattle clubs to find out if things are less shitty.
Otherwise I kinda click randomly and zone out, enjoy some funny stories or some juicy drama

I go to My Settings first, then I click on New Posts....Rarely do I wanna post on anything though, cause it seems to be lest stripper or body oriented and more escort oriented lately. Then I hit my fav members posts. Those are most likely to inspire me to post.
"I hear you calling and it's needles and pins. I wanna hurt you just to hear you screaming my name...You're poision. but I don't wanna break these chains.... I wanna love you but I'd better not touch."

No kidding, right? LOL Pure entertainment factor.

    OP,

I rarely ever ask anything on SW, because I probably couldn't find the answers here for 98% of the work stuff which I would ask. Honestly though I've been doing this so long that it's very rare that I would have an industry related question that I couldn't figure out myself.

More often than not I come on here to give advice. I think of it as due payback for all the fabulous mentors I had when I was still new to dancing. I started dancing without any mentors, but soon found the EDC website which had some of the best mentors a "baby stripper" could have asked for back then! I'm trying to pass on the good fortune of good advice.

I also come on here to chat with friends & keep up to date with what they are doing.
    Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.
