Try Nintendo DS Brain Age. No joking, it works!

Brahami suppliments or tea is supposed to help. I bought some last semester but never ended up taking them.
I am doing a very intense course at the moment. I did a degree perviously in which I graduated 1st class honours with an 87% average for 4 years. Now I struggle to just pass. I have found that I cant cram the way I used to. I guess as I get older my brain works differently.
This semester I read the lecture notes before the lecture (if the teacher posts them). I find I get a lot more out of the lecture that way because I already have some understanding of the topic. Then that night after the lecture write out your own notes- cut out all the useless info. If the teacher gives learning objectives for each lecture then base your notes off of the learning objectives. Exams tend to be learning objectives word for word!
Then read the chapter in the textbook that relates to that lecture the following night. Then on the weekend review all the lectures/textbook material you have done to date, so each weekend you are adding. By the time you get to the exam you will hardly need to study because you have read the info over and over.
I also find looking for youtube videos on the subject helps too. So on days when you just feel too tired, instead of looking at SW youtube a topic that you need to learn.
