HELP!!!!!!!!
Are you new?
If so you'll start sweating less soon.

Yes, I'm fairly new. But is very weird, especially considering the fact that I'm very used to strenuous physical activity (like running five miles in the middle of the summer every other day for three months).
Idk, I sweat like crazy and it's been like 11yrs. I don't do much pole work at all. I climb the two-story pole like once a shift cause it's way easy for me but I still only do it once cause a sweat will sneak up on me. I usually only go on stage once a night though. So that works out for me. We don't make money on stage at my club and sometimes people paid attn when I did the fancy tricks and awesome dance moves that made me sweat like crazy... but no money. And then I couldn't even give dances because I was so sweaty, I had to go to the dressing room to go over myself with a blow dryer. And girls would complain it was cold in the club.
Guys never seem to mind, but still feels gross when they touch my sweaty ass back or wet sweaty hair! So I don't do that shit anymore, not worth it, and I make better money focusing on where the money is, not dancing on stage.
But BIGGEST sweat tip I can give you is deodorant on your upper lip. I use it all the time and it's been a huge huge help in life. I mean, wiping your upper lip sweat is fucking embarrassing, but having it chillin there is worse! One time a dude was like "oh I know this chick does coke, look at her lip" lmao!! I didn't even really care though because dude was still spending money on me so whatev, but I think that was a night I forgot the lip deodorant and I'm like "fuck! never again!"
I use a separate one than I use for my pits obvi, I like Secret clinical strength hypo-allergenic. I've actually never broken out from it. I used it all summer. I just smear on a little after my primer and it keeps me sweat-free on my lip, which I think was the first place and triggered everything else, so I've gotten better all over.
Main thing, it's not as gross as you think, guys are actually usually really into it!
Yeah I was used to that too but dancing is different and your body will soon become used to it.
For pole work try http://www.liquidgrip.com/
and yeah like Laurcon said guys do love it. Sadly I don't lol

I sweat like a racehorse in summer. It's nasty and gross. But whatever. Noone has ever complained about it although it's been commented on. Mostly things like "girl, work it", and "I love how you're glowing", or "you're working up a sweat, huh?" I normally respond something like "you should see how I work it in bed", or "I really put everything into my dances". Depends on the guy and his creep factor. That first response I use more to joke and I know the guy won't take it any further, cuz otherwise that's almost an open invitation to OTC stuff, which I dont do.
But yeah, prescription strength antiperspirant and Secret clinical strength, and I apply it to my upper lip, under my boobs, around my kitty, and underarms. It helps, but doesn't eliminate the problem.

One of my best friends got botox in her pits. It closes your sweat ducts for about 5 months at a time. Extreme and expensive? Maybe. But just thought I'd throw that out there in case you were interested.

My whole body gets sweaty; the armpits aren't a really big deal (they don't sweat 'cause of deodorant), but my face, and my arms, and everything else becomes sweaty.
Like I said, I barely wear make up 'cause of the sweat.
Anyway, thanks! It has been very helpful.
Botox? I don't like poison. That's how I call botox; rich people's poison.

^ Same here girl. I don't wear makeup / do my hair anyways, but that is a hindering factor if I ever wanted to. It looks like I just took a shower with how sweaty my hair / body gets. I do work very hard but still feel like I sweat more than the other girls! Luckily most guys like it, don't worry Too much!

2 ways to manage it:
1. Get in shape. So the physical activity is less strenuos for you
2. Check your salt intake. Are you eating too much salt? If you are this might be pushing the problem.
The best thing i have heard in a strip club to date:
customer: we should get married right now! we should get a shotgun marriage!
me: uhh... i think you are misunderstanding what a shotgun marriage means. A shotgun marriage means you knock me up and my daddy shows up at your door with a gun and forces you to marry me and raise the baby. You mean elope.
customer: hmm... nah actually i will take the shotgun marriage. At least then we would be having sex.

1. I'm very much in shape; sweat=/=out of shape. If running every other day for long miles, and lifting over 300 pounds of weight for my legs, thighs and buttocks is being "out of shape", then I guess some other more 'feminine' workout (like yoga or pilates) would put me in "shape". They still make me sweat, despite that I've doing almost the same for over four years. I don't think dancing is strenous, I just sweat a whole lot.
2. Probably, I guess sodium could be a problem. Thanks for pointing that out.
Sweating easily is regarded as sign of good health and circulatory/metabolic function in any sport I've ever participated in. And am I weird for thinking that girls look pretty sexy when they sweat?

It's called hyperhidrosis, excessive sweating....
I took some medication for it for under my arms only, and it worked! but you have to use it continually....I don't know what's available for all over your body though...

Apparently antiperspirant is most effective when applied the night before.
i sweat alot too, ive always just reapplied make up alot and bought myself a handheld fan and used that between stage sets

Check your thyroid.. I sweat like a hog, and usually worse when my levels are off. which is most of the time
Yes there could be something going wrong in the "bigger picture" of your overall health .... if not sage tea is supposed to help!
I dance slow and when I started I still sweat a lot!

sometimes Ill fan myself with all my ones. Im not kidding. It has gotten me dances before.

So, I followed some of the advices. I dance a bit more slowly know; I can go like that forever. Then, the sodium; I cut some sodium, and it worked.
Botox in my armpits? I don't want to poison myself, hahahahahaha.
I sweat ALOT. And my body temperature rises at night! Its so bad. I sleep with a pillow between my legs at night cause my legs are too hot to touch each other. My BF loves the fact im so warm at night and always will nuzzle up with me to get some of my body heat.
In the car the other day he had the AC on and i was in a little t shirt and jean skirt.
I had back sweat, sweat between my boobs, under my arms back of my legs. The car was COLD tho! My BF put the air on cause I was hot but the outside temp was on 70 that day!! I wasnt sick or anything either. He was like "damn babe this is excessive, even for you"!
Anyways Im always lookin for advice on how to control the sweating.
I think I will have my thyroid checked as someone suggested. I also will monitor my sodium intake.
If anyone knows of a great deoderant that REALLY works im all ears.
Ive tried using mens deoderant but i break out in a rash![]()

I am not sure if this has been said already... but I have sweat massively since I was really young, finally I found Certain-Dri deodorant. I have one bottle for my underarms, one bottle for my palms. I get really sweaty palms easily. I guess all it does is shrink your pores so sweat can't come out as quickly, and in such large amounts. I used to wear coats in summer just to cover up my armpits because I sweat so bad, but after I started using the deodorant I don't have that problem anymore. Sorry if this method has already been said, I was just kinda skimming through because I'm in a hurry.
