    Default When is the "season"

I am new to dancing, just barely started over the summer, and I am making pretty good money, but some days it is just DEAD and none of the girls make much more than $50 after tip out, and we are in a nicer club. A lot of the girls that have been there for awhile keep talking about how it is the slow season, and it will pick up once it cools down. Is this true everywhere, and if so, how much more do you average per night when it's season vs. "nonseason?" Thanks!

I travel all the time these days so I can't give you a difference in terms of season vs. non-season.

However, "season" is not a myth... but it is different in many places. Winter tends to be "season" in many places because there is much less to do in the winter so people come to the clubs. Florida has a season, I believe it's sometime between November & March? There are also things like hunting seasons, which bring large amounts of people to clubs for short amounts of time.
    Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

I think it depends on where you live... I live in New England and for us the busy season is summer. This is when lots of tourists are in the area, the weather is nice, and people are having bachelor parties and partying a lot in general. For us the winter is DEAD because there aren't any bachelor parties and the roads are horrible so no one is travelling to clubs or having private parties when there is such a high chance for cancellation.

But I have heard from most other parts of the country that the summer is the slow season for them....

Same here in Washington. I do bach parties and in Summer it gets ridiculous. I can expect to get 2-3 gigs a week. Things are cooling down and I'm doing about 3 gigs a month right now, but I've heard it gets as bad as 1 a month.

    I can't wait til May.

yeah, totally depends on the area. for places like florida, the southwest, etc, think of it like this: can you imagine being outside all day playing golf? if so, it's probably season. if it's too hot for that, it's not season. if it's too cold (like florida was last winter), it's also not season because it's too cold to spend all day golfing.

some guys come down to golf, some come down to get away from home and tell their wives they're golfing, whatever. but it seems to be based on golf weather. notice rain too...can't golf in rain.

I might as well go into hibernation until March haha

WOW! a show EVERY night of the week, PLUS 3-4 shows EVERY Thurs, Fri and Sat!!!!???? That is just AMAZING!

I am originally from the NE area. I danced parties from 1999 - 2006. Before 2004, it was much busier. I had about 4 - 9 shows a week and making very good money. But never was it consistant and NEVER did I (or ayone else) get shows every Sun - Wed.

Bottom line: NO WAY is it possible you are/were getting ligit shows EVERY Sun, Mon,Tues. Weds, every week,, unless you are escorting.

Miss, I have to CALL YOU OUT. You say you just started stripping this year and some how managed to hook up with a company which gave you shows 7 days a week everyweek, and additionally 4 shows every thurs/fri/sat.

Yet you refuse to say which AMAZING compay this is.
I have to put up the BS card here.....

NE is a very small stripper world. There are only a hand full of ligit, larger companies which could possibly, come close to the amount of shows you are talking about. So why can't you say who you are working for??

It's because you are full of sh*t.

It's obvious you are not for real.

PS, To all the real, hard working girls reading this, Please do not think New England girls are getting shows 7 days a week and making 3-4 thousand a week, every week. - Like New England is some magical promised land for party strippers.. lol..

    I guess I hit a nerve! LOL.

    Hun, Don't get all mad.
look.., , I m not in the business anymore. I am very happy with my civillian life, Professioanlly, personally, and especially financialy, life is very very good for me.
Now a days, I am just an occasional observer into the wild world of stripping.

But.. When I saw this mile high pile of BS .., I had to throw up the BS flag.

You had no problem when you posted photos of yourself and talked about companies you worked for by name a few months back.
BUT, when you have been called out for "retared", stories, you suddenly "want to protect your privacy".. LOL... very convenient, Miss.

Hey.. Maybe I m wrong. maybe you are the one and only girl ever who is so pretty, and .. what did you say, have such a "great attitude", and work for such a magical company, that you really do work 7 days a week every week.

Don't get all worked up. As you said, this is just a random blog with people you don't even know. So feel free to post any fantasy you lke.

i really don't care. a lot of the girls who've posted here over the years weren't really dancers. there've been PLs, pervs, pimps, and managers posing as dancers here.

you should take everything everyone says with a big grain of salt.

    Thank you!

As I am no longer a dancer, I should not get involved.

Even though I have been reading this site for many years, I never felt the urge to respond to a posting.

After reading a few posts from this one poster in the private parties section, I had a gut reaction to such blatent, untrue, self-marketing crap. I could not help myself from CLARIFYING several pionts in many of his/her posts.

I also noticed this author deleted where he/she is from on his/her profile sense I called/him/her out. His/her profile used to say they are from New England.

I used to live in and work as a stripper in the New Englnd area for 8 years. NE is a VERY small area. Everyone knows everyone. I haved worked for ALL the NE companies, know all the owners and have worked with or know 90% or more of NE dancers.

I have never posted a thread or replied to any post in several years... untill now.

This is the first time I felt I had to reply to a completely untrue, and obvious unreal posting from some supposedly from New England.

If I over stepped my boundries by calling out a poster who is obviously not a dancer and has alternative motives, I am sorry.

I should have known all the real hard working, professional, savy, classy ladies on this board long ago confirmed this poster was not real, and not worth anyones time.

Big kisses for your INSIGHT, hard work, professionalism, and intelligence!!!
Keep being sexy as hell and making that money and staying safe!

    Be well ALL!
