    Default Apartment help for dancer

    Hello all!
I am moving to LA and really would appreciate the help in finding a place to rent. Anyone have any dancer friendly renters/names of buildings they could point me towards?
DM me for private info please.
    Thanks a million!

I've never had a problem renting anywhere in LA...
As long as you can prove your income, anyway (tax returns, making regular bank deposits and so on).

    +1 on what Desuvs said...

I've never had a problem renting (even in *super* nice places) with either 3 month's worth of bank statements which show deposits equaling 3 times the rental value of the unit you wish to lease or a copy of a tax return. There are tons of independent contractors (and beautiful young women/professionals) in Los Angeles so there's never any terribly invasive questions about your indie status so long as you look presentable, clean, friendly, and meet the income requirements.

Good luck. If you want to ask any specific questions about certain areas of Los Angeles, I can help you out with advice for Hollywood, San Fernando Valley (Encino, Studio City, Sherman Oaks), and the Westside ( Santa Monica, Malibu, Westwood, Brentwood, Venice) and a bit of the South Bay (Torrance, San Pedro,Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach).

Thanks, I couldn't remember if it was 2.5 or 3x the amount of rent they wanted. (Maybe that varies by apt)...
There are also some places where 3 months of rent in your bank account is also acceptable.
