Default VIPs that aren't really VIPs...

We got this new VIP "option" and i don't know how to sell it, or if I even want to actually. It's 150$ for a half hour, girl gets 70%, 50% if it's on a credit card. It's not more private, it's right next to the lap dances and the exact same concept. It's not uninterepted, if it's your turn on stage you have to stop and go on stage, if it's two stages you'll be gone for 20+ min, and that even cuts into their bought time.

So what should I do about this? Is it even worth the effort or should I just continue to just sell dance after dance like we always have? o_0

I don't know where they came up with these off the wall rules at... =<

Oh the dances are 15$ per song, 2/25$ monday and thursday, and 10$ on tuesday, all songs are uncut so dances can range anywhere form 3 1/2 - 8minutes each, I usually tell customers that think 15$ is to high it's like gambling cause you could get like two songs in one, lmao. We're right down the street from a very popular casino boat and most of our customers are also casino junkies.

    What a terrible system!
All I can think to do is sell either a single dance (like you've always done), or sell blocks of time for a set amount.
I'm not sure about the layout of your club, but at mine the chairs on the outter parts of the room are more comfortable than the inner parts of the room. Maybe your typical single dances can be in the less comfortable chairs and your blocks of time can be in the more comfortable ones.

As far as your clubs "new and innovative" vip area.... My best guess would be to sell this area like it's the BEST place for you and him to be (even though it's not). I'd also build rapport with your dj, so that way whenever you take a guy to vip you can tell your dj to hold off on you. Tip him too!

    Good luck with this one!

is your club a small intimate club? if so, if you get a group of girls together you might be able to talk to the manager about the whole not being bought off stage thing.

otherwise, i think renaissancelove has a good idea with building rapport with the DJ.

oy, some club owners are fucking stupid. i dont know why people get into this business when they have absolutely no idea how strip clubs work or customers work or what makes money .
The best thing i have heard in a strip club to date:
customer: we should get married right now! we should get a shotgun marriage!
me: uhh... i think you are misunderstanding what a shotgun marriage means. A shotgun marriage means you knock me up and my daddy shows up at your door with a gun and forces you to marry me and raise the baby. You mean elope.
customer: hmm... nah actually i will take the shotgun marriage. At least then we would be having sex.

Yuck. One of the main draws of a VIP is uniterupted time. Hopefully you could get it changed if you really want to stay here. I never invest the energy to talk to club owners and have no experience if it would even work or not!

I hadn't thought of that one awesome! Yea they did get some like restaurant booth chairs (with no tables) for the VIP chairs and the lap dances are on a bench with a cushion =P

There is unfortunately no help for the stage issue, DJs not allowed to do anything like that, so until we just get too many people pissed off they got jipped on there time...

Yea we have a classic case of club owner not really being a "Strip Club owner" but just a "business owner" it's sad really we could have so much more potential. We normally have a awesome group of girls and no real competition. (which is why they've been able to half-ass everything thing for since they've opened)

Yea I'll try to play up the "comfort level" thing =P

I think what Athena said is best, you need to get the girls together and talk with the manager. Even if you work in a big club (which I do) and there is something we don't like (girls that have been there awhile, of coarse) then they do something about it. Things get accomplished in numbers. It seems that, that room doesn't make much sense. Why would a customer pay for time that you won't be present for. I think that would cause more problems with customers and management. Who came up with this idea??!! You girls that work together need to stand up for things that don't make sense in the place you work. Just like any other employees would at their job. Good Luck girlie
