So I'm on the stairmaster at the gym this morning - my go-to machine for fine-tuning my butt and legs. In order for me to get the results I want, this typically means 45-60 minutes at a pretty moderate rate.
I was like 40 minutes into it (going for 60) and one of the trainers, a particularly muscled cro-magnum looking guy, comes up to me and asks "how much longer you got?" Now in gym language, this means "I'd like to use that machine." Because there is only one stairmaster at this place, I decide to be courteous and just do 5 more minutes. Never mind the fact that there was absolutely nobody else doing work on any of the cardio machines there...but hey, I'm polite.
So he's like "okay, good." I get off, go over to the eliptical, and do the last 15 minutes on that machine. I was there for about 30 minutes after that lifting weights. The whole time, the stairmaster was empty. He didn't get on it. He didn't have a client to put on it. Nothing. And there is no dumb "30 minute time limit" or anything on the machines there.
So what gives? Was this his retarded way of trying to say hi?
