I know around here you can get a 'full syringe' for about $300. That seems like a lot to me, but I'm used to Florida prices.
I've never had lip fillers, but my girlfriends mom got them done where you're getting your boobies done, and it looked great. Really natural and not lumpy at all.
Hey, it would be nice if that could do it while you're still under...that way you wouldn't have to go through that pain.....(The downside to this is you wouldn't be able to tell the doctor when your lips are full enough).

a full syringe for only 300? that's reallllllly low.

Ive got lip injections but my PS said I could not have them at the same time as surgery. Im not really sure why. Maybe because of the tube and your face not being in its normal expression. Also when I had them before the lady had me looking at what she was doing to make sure I was happy. I had juvederm Ultra and it was $600 or $700 for 1 mL. Ill be getting them again in a few weeks I hope.

I actually had an upper lip implant put in at the same time I traded up to bigger breast implants. For some reason my body seemed to 'digest' injected fillers very quickly, so getting a silicone lip implant yielded 'permanent' results.

melonie, i absorb fillers really quickly as well. high metabolism? i don't know. it's annoying.
it's really not necessary to get fillers done at the same time as a ba, as you can pretty much walk into a doctors office and get fillers on the spot.
i wonder if the anesthesia and your body recovering would flush the filler out more quickly? but i don't see why you can't get injections done the day before you leave.

I can still feel the juverderm in my lips and I am at 11 months now. (although its almost gone and not much of a visual difference left) Weirdly though right after my surgery I couldnt feel any left at all and then recently its like they plumped back up. I guess I was dehydrated maybe.

^^^ well, a permanent silicone lip implant eliminated the whole issue for me. And that's something that needs to be done in the O.R. under anesthesia. IMHO not worth the hassle and extra costs as a separate procedure, but not a bad idea if it can be 'piggy-backed' with the same pre-surgery testing fees, the same O.R. fee, the same Anesthesiologists's fee etc. as a BA / redo.
