Anyone planning on working Superbowl this year?
Has anyone worked it before? How is it?

when it was in tampa, super bowl week sucked. i showed up to work one day, and it was packed with girls, and i got turned away. i'm glad i did, because i probably would've spent more on house than i would've made. it was that bad.
before was good. there were guys in town setting up and stuff. and after was great. there were guys staying in the area for the nice weather. the travelling girls had left. a lot of house girls didn't feel like working because they were worn out.
but that was right after the recession started. and i think it depends a lot on the city and the teams that are playing. we had pittsburg and detroit. pittsburg travels strong (but doesn't have a lot of well off fans), but detroit definitely does not. i didn't meet a single guy who came down to support detroit. they were all either in pittsburg or just were just there because they like going to superbowl.
i heard last year in miami was pretty good. and i suspect this year in dallas will be pretty good too.
-love everyone but keep them far from your soul-

I've never worked during the superbowl but I don't think I'm going to. I don't know the first thing about football. I hate sports. I don't want to have to talk about it with customers and they're probably going to be more interested in the game than the dancers.

I have worked a Superbowl (Phoenix) - decent crowds, great potential.
