Default First shift, private dances vs lapdances

I just got hired last night and I'm so nervous. At this club there is no alcohol and they offer lap dances and "private dances" which are basically you and plexiglass and the customer.

I think I'm going to be really bad at lap dances but private dances are more money. I know a lot of girls refuse to do private shows but I don't feel icky about it just that I'm not sure what to do, exactly. I know most of it is learning on the job but I just really need to make money.

I'm on day shift for the first week, it's a rule at this club, but I hope to move to the 6p-1a shift after the first week. I would like to maximize my earnings this week though to be able to afford shoes, clothes and the like for night shift, where I know there's more money.

I have a friend that works at this club that makes 400plus NOT doing private dances, and my girlfriend also works there so I have no problem doing girl on girl shows either. The stage dances don't bother me at all but I'm nervous about the dances that will actually make me money!

Does anyone have any experience with the "girl in the box" dances? I just don't want to look stupid. Also I'm reading up on lap dances but any tips to help my nerves with those would be appreciated.

the main thing with exotic dancing of any kind (lap dancing, stage dancing etc) is to be SEXY. it doesn't matter how you move as long as you feel sexy and turn the customer on. caress your body, smile, wink, be flirty

This goes for lap dancing (and can likely apply to these "box" dances as well, but I have never done them so I could be wrong): Move S L O W. Take your time transitioning between moves, drag them out. Use your hands all over your body to draw attention to your best features. Make lots of eye contact and shoot the customer flirty smiles.

Most importantly, don't do anything you don't feel comfortable with. 20$ (or however much dances cost at your club) isn't worth it. Don't be afraid to say no, move their hands, or even end the dance if you're that uncomfortable.

I started dancing at a strict no contact club a couple months ago, and last weekend made the switch to a new club that allows contact.
I'd never given a lapdance in my life, and was so incredibly nervous about it, but it ended up being soooooo freakin easy! So much easier than doing air dances, imo.
I probably don't give the greatest lapdance right now, but I usually don't have a problem selling repeat dances so I can't be too bad lol.

I watched a couple youtube videos, and did a search on here and read a couple of threads about lapdances to help make me feel more prepared.

Also, I went in to the club before I started and bought a dance from one of the girls. She asked if I was thinking about working there, and I told her I was, and she was VERY informative. She showed me some different moves and gave me some tips.
Not all girls might be so helpful, but even so just being able to experience a lapdance first hand really helped me.

I don't have any tips about the private dances, but I hope that helps with the lapdance nerves.
