Here in Virginia (Norfolk, Va), there's an upscale club that seems to hire only tiny, waif girls. Apparently, if you're 5'4" or above, wear anything above 32B, and use anything larger than a size two, you're not cut for that club (I'm always, always the girl with the largest tits, and they're not that big, ah, and I'm also the tallest dancer...even I use three inch heels!). I mean, I once tried their amateur night; I walked out the stage with like 15 bucks (in less than two minutes), and a lot of people liked me, yet the ones that got hired were the tiny, waif girls; they made like four bucks (in fifteen minutes) when they danced for real, right after being hired. Plus, EVERY SINGLE GIRL WHO WORKS THERE HAS THE EXACT SAME BODY TYPE; the only thing that differentiate them from one to another is the skin color, and the hair.
Another time, I went with a military friend of mine who was just curious about this go go dancing thing. She's one of those waif, tiny chicks. She barely moved on stage (stage fright; it was her first time), yet right after the amateur night was over, the owner approached her to offer her a slot. When I saw that, I was like, WTF?! I busted my ass (literally) for those two minutes, ended up with 12 bucks, yet I didn't get approached!!!!
However, I don't think these girls make that much money 'cause when I mentioned that in an average night I make like 110 dollars, and a bad night is like 82 dollars, they were all shocked. I mean, I work in a lower key club, yet I seem to make more than these girls. One of them was like, "I'm so quitting this place, and go to your club instead", and another one (a girl I made friends with on another amateur night; she's now a regular there) said to me "I'm so shocked R didn't hired you; you're so pretty and so friendly, but at least you make more money in a week, than us in a single month, so I'd better check that place you work at next week".
I'm all about different bodies and all, but "specializing" in tiny, waif girls ONLY doesn't seem too appealing, the same way "specializing" in barbie-like dancers is boring as well. What happen to different tastes and different types? I mean, I think is very boring when they all look a like. Is not appealing when all the dancers have blond hair and fake tans nor when all the dancers are alternative girls covered with tattoos and/or look like anime characters. The best, I think, is when all the dancers are all different and unique; nobody wants to see another girl who looks like me. Is just not fun.

.

Oh well, I just was on to the next one and found a club with diversity that I loved!
