Ok, so this winter i am not going to be a nomad for the first time in a long time, and im finally going to be able to do stuff that stationary people do like getting a nutritionist or a trainer.
but i have no idea where to even start.
for the nutritionist: I have PCOS and nutrition is really frustrating. otherwise i wouldnt even worry about it. but how do i find a nutritionist who is right for me? I am assuming the place to start would be to call them up and see if they have worked with PCOS patients before, but how do i know whether htey are good with PCOS patients? I mean if i say are you good at it, being that they want a customer, im assuming they will say yes. and it seems like different nutritionists will like different diets, i dont want to jsut find one that agrees with me (otherwise wtf is the point of going) i want to find one who can find what is best for me even if it disagrees with what i now believe about nutrition. so how the hell do i hunt one down who is right for me?
also i want a complete blood test for food allergies. what exactly should i get? I was watching discovery health while at the gym today and it said that a lot of blood tests only test for immediate food allergies while some were delayed? and the symptom of the delayed food allergy actually lined up with some symptoms i have?
and what is a reasonable price?
Now for personal trainers... how do i find one that is right? I know every personal trainer will probably have different styles... i want to get super cut, with almost no fat but i still want my muscles. basically i want to look fitness model-y (i did before my stupid PCOS symptoms kicked in). so how do i find one who specializes in this? And is aware of what my nutritionist tells me?
and what is a good price for a trainer?
maybe im overthinking this, but its complicated.
also ill be in the new orleans area if you have any specific locational knowlege.
