    Default Apartment in San Francisco

I used to dance in San Francisco and I am now moving there, however, I never lived in the city. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to live in the city? I've heard a lot about Fox Plaza, but I want to check out a couple of places.

Are you looking for suggestions on a particular apartment complex (we don't have that many of them, and the ones that are here are in boring neighborhoods for the most part) or neighborhoods?

Yes, I know the neighborhoosd pretty well. I want to say near SOMA, Market Street, Union Square, Nob Hill, Russian Hill, Marina District, Pacific Heights or maybe into the Tenderloin...

Looking for recommendations on specific complexes.

Ah. I have a few friends who live in the complexes near the ballpark (GO GIANTS!). Walking distance to SOMA, pretty nice... I'll ask around and see what kind of info I can fid on specific buildings.

Stay out of the Tenderloin. Seriously, it's not a good neighborhood to live in. I have people try to follow me home there multiple times, there were always hookers on the street (female & male), & people doing drugs. Its just generally not a good area. Plus, the area is not kept very clean & the cock roaches in that are are insane... lots of them & HUGE.

You'd be much safer in the Castro District or Nob Hill.
    Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

Agreed x100. I lived in the Tenderloin right out of college, and it was rough. That was a long time ago, but I think it's still pretty awful.
