I've sent my brother money in a different state and had no problem using Western Union. Places like Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Krogers will have Western Union.

I don't really know about sending money. I've received it before but there are very high fees with WU. I think the question should be 'should I trust him?'. If I were you I would wait until I had that cash in my hand before doing any shows etc.

I wouldn't trust it. Make him pay you through a payment processor. What is the difference to him? Unless there is a way you can confirm Western Union payments on their website.

You should have the money in hand first.

I'm not sure if Western Union still does this but there used to be a way that the sender could put a secret code on the payment, & whomever knew the code could pick up the payment, that way the sender didn't need to know your legal name etc.

western union is legit, i think the question is can you trust the guy.

to me it just seems like too much hassle, and when most guys beg for a different payment method than the one offered on whatever site you're on... they're usually BSing...
He can't put money on MFC but is willing to go to a western union, pay like a 15 dollar fee on if more than $100? Tell him thats fine, use a secret code, give you the MTCN, and after you successfully pick up the money you'll then give him the show.

As far as I know, it takes some time for the Western Union payment to go through. If you're willing to wait for it and you can do it without your real name/town and so on... Just don't give him a show before you have money in your wallet.

I agree, though, why is it so hard for him to buy a show on MFC? He's either looking for some price deal or is trying to hide his tracks from someone, wife, perhaps? If you think the sum might be worth it, than hey, what do I know, go for it, but w/e you do, keep your privacy and get the money FIRST.

    Good luck!

If he is willing throught all that hassle to send WU, why not have him pay you using a Reload card/Code for a Green Dot Visa. Get a Green Dot Card, then have him give you the reload code for you to enter in your card account. He will not know your name or address, etc.
Also, all you do is log in to your Green Dot online account, enter the reload code he will provide to you, then you will see the funds added. No need for you to go to WU, deal with future issues, etc.
