Question Timer Webcam Snapshot application for Mac ?

I'm looking for timer webcam snapshot application for Mac. I'm using Macbook version 10.4.11 and I need the software that supports this version. I can't download Manycams since it requires Mac 10.5. I updated my webcam to Logitech Quickcam Vision Pro and I can't set it up in Photobooth that have timer snapshot included. I have built in i-sight that allows me to take time snapshots in Photobooth but Logitech quality so much better and I prefer to use Logitech for taking time snapshots.

I downloaded a few applications already that lets you take snapshots and it's supported on 10.4.11 the only thing can't do is take timer snapshots.

    These are the application
    EvoCam
    Cam Twist
    Cam Spinner
    icamShare

Can someone please tell me about application can try out that lets me take time snapshots on version 10.4.11 with Logitech ?

    Update

Ok, I found out how to get Logitech to work in Photobooth. How I got it to work opening up imovie that attach i-sight (odd in imovie logitech won't show up under the camera to record a video) When I have i-sight on in i-movie then I open up Photobooth and Logitech comes on and it let me do timer pose snapshots it does show a black strip at top and bottom but that's alright can just crop it out in photoshop.

Yes, I found few cam software for Mac on pure-cam.com website but the ones I downloaded do only instant snapshot without letting me do timer for amount of seconds to take a snapshot in a pose.

I guess for now until I can upgrade to 10.5 will just take a video clip of me do a screen cap of a pause frame in a pose that's if I can figure out how to make the quality for the video clip high quality it's odd when I'm using my cam on IM chat application it's in high quality and then once I try doing a recorded video it's not as good even when selecting the high quality setting and the clip not getting uploaded online. I will just play around with it some more to try something out to make it better.

I know there is a software you can buy for mac that will let you run windows programs maybe you can see if you can find one compatible for your version of mac.

having mac seems complicated why I haven't gotten one.

I found a way to get Logitech to show up on Photobooth the trick to get it to work by opening up iMovie leaving isight on in iMovie but don't close the application and then open up Photobooth then Logitech will load up in Photobooth however it does do a black strip at top and the bottom but that's alright can photoshop that out and I found another application Wecam Tweaker that will not do the black stripe at top of the bottom of screen at all and comes with timer and it will let me do time snapshots I have trail version for now of Webcam Tweaker later will get the register one since it does watermark.

Yes, I agree it can be complicating using a Mac for webcam I just love a mac used to use Windows and had so much virus issues my computer every year require for me to get it re-program. I had my Mac for a few years and haven't had any programs require to get it re-program.

That stupid isight is the worst thing mac has ever done and I'm a mac fan girl. I HATE it. Yes you can use other cams with photo booth but photo booth only takes pics at 640X480 which just isn't good enough in 2010. I'm hoping they put an HD cam into the new mac notebooks. There really is no reason why they couldn't because the iphone 4 has an HD high resolution camera.

All those other programs for taking pics with on your mac are awful. I just switch to windows using bootcamp when I want to take photos using my logitech cam. Videos and doing cam shows aren't a problem (unless I want to go on MFC). It is just taking decent photos that is impossible.

That's why I updated to Logitech compare the results with i-sight and Logitech soooooooo much better. I used to with i-sight had to use a few lights in my room just to try to make it somewhat decent. Now with my Logitech all I need is one light and the quality just love it even customers told me look so much better. I had a first issue with the video quality but I selected MPEG4 and it help with making it clear and sharp.

Babe, get a wireless mouse! I had this issue too until someone suggested to get a wireless mouse, that way you can hot that photobooth button when youre ready.

Also, you can get an extension usb cable for your logitech, about 3 meters, so you can place it further from your macbook.

Also, instead of using imovie, open ichat and click on the camera, that uses isight and then photobooth shld let you use your logitech

Im still looking for mac software that will let me stream my cam to more than one website!

If the site is flash based for webcamming you can just open up a new tab to cam multiple places.

That's a good idea the day I had the problems opening up photobooth with the logitch. I just did a random thing opening up the isight in another application that support it and then open up photobooth it then detach logitch only if isight is turned on in another application. I for sure want to get extension usb cable in the future.
