    Default keeping body up...

So I just had my daughter and I've been working out so I can get into the SC world and feel confident with my body... well I got happy with my body and thought I should take a day off to celebrate... huge mistake. After only one day of not working out I can tell a difference with my body... esp my boobs... For any of you that work out- how many days can you go without working out and still feel fine about your body?

one day. I am the same as you. It's like my body does some sort of weird overnight morphing/digression thing. It's SO frustrating.

3 days. After 3 days in a row of no working out I feel soft. I don't know what kind of workout you do but for most it is important to let your body rest and recover. That is how you will get stronger. What works for me is to still do something active but very low impact on my "off days". Yoga, 15 min of abs, a brisk walk... That way my muscles get to rest but I am still doing something for maintenance.

I work out 4 days at the gym, then do shit at home. Plus I'm at work so that's excercise for me.

I feel a difference if I don't work out for 1-2 days, but I don't see a difference unless it's been about 5 days to a week (unless I pig out and eat a bunch of salt and stuff). I usually work out with weights at the gym and hit the elliptical and stairmaster and do pushups, situps, etc at home. I do walk about 2 miles most days though and I pack around a 20-30lb backpack 4 days a week at school, climbing up and down stairs and running around from building to building like a chicken with my head cut off. Oh, and I am always picking up/carrying/wrestling with one or both of my boys who weigh 33 and 48lbs, and I'm a bit of a clean freak and I always dance around and crap while I clean (probably about an 1-1.5 hrs a day) so that is probably what allows me to be alright if I skip the gym for a few more days....I like never sit still, hell I'm standing here dancing to Shinedown as I'm typing this! haha Imma dork!

princessjas, you are too funny! I dance around to house music while I clean. lmao. But yea, I am getting so frustrated with the "whole digress after a day" thing. ugh..

I love to train & have for most of my life..& haven't taken more than 2 weeks off since I was 18.
There are times when it's a good thing to take some time off. I'm glad to see some ladies investing in themselves.

Most of the time if I take 3-4 days off... my body lets go of all that water it's been holding on to and I look HOT.
After about a 5-7 days... that's when my body starts to look bad again. And when it starts to look bad... it looks BAD. LOL.
