ohh! I just rolled at work for the first time on Saturday night, actually. I enjoyed it! I'm experienced though, and I made sure to not get too faded. It gives me this sort of superstar air, I get into the music more, and my inhibitions are lowered without getting sloppy like I'd be if I were drinking. It was good for me, but everyone is different. I'm surprised at all of negative responses.
I would NOT recommend doing it at work if you haven't rolled at least five or six times before so you know how it effects you.. It's a little different for everyone! We all have different body chemistry![]()
If you are gonna try it, just as a tip.. I'd recommend doing high grade molly and not E-pills so that you can go to sleep right after work and not feel all jacked up.
And duh, don't do this very often. Extacy is fun as fuck, but too much of it is NOT good for your life. ;-)

Actually you are right, dancing isnt like surgery. With surgery you are in control of someone else's life. With dancing you are in control of your own life, at its most vulnerable form. If you don't value yourself and your body than great, go ahead and get fucked up and put yourself at risk for being taken advantage of... SC's are dangerous enough. I put myself at risk when I partied at work and I paid the price for it. I wish no other girls had to go through that..
This.

I agree with your post for the most part... but what if you're healthy, fit dancer with no psychological/emotional problems with dancing, and you want to responsibly drink or do whatever kind of drug, and you can still do your job brilliantly. Yes, there are some girls who look like druggies, and others that are drinking or on X and no one would ever know. When I drink or roll (which is rarely!!), most people don't know, and I'm totally in control of my situation. I know how much to take, ya know.. I know my limits. And I'm always focused on $$$$(+$$$!!!).
I'm just saying, some of us can handle our poison.Anywayyyy, I digress.

^^^And if you can then GREAT! But many cannot and they are just hot messes. Even when they think they are fine.

why is x bad?

This thread brings back memories of my one night at the Penthouse, stepping over girls passed out in the dressing room with a towel over their head and a puddle of piss between their thighs. Yeah. Getting high at work is great, lolololol
Yes, I'm real.

i never liked to roll when i danced because i felt it was a waste of good stuff. i would rather do it on my own time. but my friend gave me a roll once when we were on the way out the door to go out. she got caught up in conversation in the dressing room and i started rolling. the next thing you know i was out on the floor bouncing from table to table thinking every customer was the best ever and making bank. she ended leaving me there and i made a fortune.
i really don't think x is that great for your brain/body. i have taken some and nearly OD'ed before and seen many people at the club go out on ambulances. don't get me wrong, i am not anti partying, but i think if you are doing it all the time at work and you work several days a week, it's only gonna be a matter of time before you might run into some bad shit. i only roll a few times a year now, but after my last bad experience, i wouldn't really mind if i never rolled again. i have read on some forums that they recommend you take a break of at least 4-8 weeks between trips to get your chemistry back to normal.
so anyway, yea, you could make bank with it working, but not so sure it would be the best idea to take alot on a frequent basis.
if you are looking for energy, why not maybe try a caffiene/ephedrine stack or some bodybuilder supps that keep you buzzin? just a suggestion.

yea athena is right, it releases all the serotonin in your brain and just really screws with your chemistry. also, i googled the effects of an OD after my bad experience and you can possibly have a stroke, internal bleeding, heat exhaustion, serotonin syndrome, and other fun stuff. having an overdose is rare, but if you do it all the time, well...

Doing coke at work sucked ass cause coming down from it, you'd be fiending for more. It doesn't look good. One of the many reasons why I stopped doing it. This one chick claims she does it on a regular basis. I think she's another case of putting it in her cheeseburgers, cause she is the fattest cokehead I've seen since El Paso.

for the girls who rolled at work, did the custies notice anything different ie teeth grinding, sweating, etc?

Alcohol is my drug of choice at work, but I find 2 drinks is enough. After 2 drinksmy pole work getssloppy and I sometimes make a fool of myself. Though during a long shift I'll have a couple more as the first 2 wear off.
I've worked sober many times, and made a lotta money because my conversation is better, but I find myself getting tired and bored. I would drink red bull but my club carries the fake stuff that doesn't work. I'm planning on getting a flask so I can bring strong coffee in with me instead.

Meh Ive done it a handful of times, but only had a half each time which basically does nothing for me anyway. It did not effect my earnings it just made that night more enjoyable. Once was with a customer and once was with another dancer.
Its a personal thing whether you work better or worse under the influence. I definitely work better if Ive had a couple drinks but once I add anything else to the mix its a bit of a risk. I start to get paranoid that people will notice Im not normal. Ive gone through stages when I needed coke to work and stages when I can work completely sober, no drinks. Either way I make about the same money. I do what I need psychologically at the time. But I have also made shitloads of money because customers who do drugs so choose me because they think that makes me more fun. I say "think" because I tend to be less social on drugs. I become more interested in my experience than the people around me so I probably give them less attention. I could easily attribute at least $40k of my income this year to this type of situation.
It is a job but not all jobs are created equal. I wouldnt do it in any other job except within the adult or nightclub industry. Also if people think that other professions are not under the influence too, your delusional. Cocaine use in my office environment (before dancing) was much more rampant than in the club I work at. Especially in sales jobs. Lawyers are also known for heavy cocaine use. And many doctors get drug addictions because the access they have to medicine. I think you will find there are some surgeons who take some sort of stimulant (Im not saying a high percentage) but some surgeries are 10+ hours... surgery is not like dancing it takes a lot of concentration and amphetamine like substances (ie. adderall) are used by some surgeons.

I rather work sober. It just makes more sense to me. The minute I feel like I have to fuck myself up to work I'm quitting the industry all together. I guess when you're doing what you LOVE for a living you don't need drugs to make it "more enjoyable".BTW I have several doctors and Lawyers in my family and they don't do drugs. We all don't come from the same background.

I choose not to do drugs because I have an addictive personality, however I do get curious from time to time...

Is anyone afraid of being taken advantage of?
This is one of the reasons I never get to go out anymore. I use to chill & party with dudes who liked to spend money, dance, fuck, suck, whatever. I had some girls that I used to hang with, but I don't like being around females that are high/drunk/rolling/whatever. I'm always the only sober chick and I always see females getting down like Sodom and Gomorrah then as soon as the sun comes up somebody is crying "I've been raped" or "I've been robbed". I don't like being a witness to any imaginary shit.
If your mind is not at 100% you are never in control
Plus, is anyone not afraid of becoming ugly? Cause everyone I know who does drugs on the regular have turned into grenades.![]()

Me tooo...However, I don't get curious because I know what they can do to you. I DO wonder why people choose to harm their bodies with such chemicals... LOL
Exactly.
OMG! Me too!! I have one friend that dabbles in drugs but she's one of the coolest chicks I know. She doesn't get high around me/ask me to get high with her so she's a keeper.. Other than that... I can't hang out with druggie/high chicks.. I just can't. I have tried in the past to look past it but it never fails. Drugs DO affect people. I love how people try to pretend that it doesn't. I also just LOOVE how people think "Doctors and Lawyers use them so It's ok" LOL.
rotfl! Right. They'll see the results later.

jessie-tinydancer- i have met many lawyers and doctors who do drugs, you are right. i don't think profession has anything to do with the lifestyle choices people make. people will do what people do.
workerbee - yea, i do think about the aging effects of drugs/alcohol. one of the reasons i don't really like to do so much anymore. but i also know girls who have done it for many years and look beautiful. i know a brazilian girl in her mid forties who dances and is one of the most beautiful women i know. she parties all the time. everyone who meets her always comments how beautiful she is and thinks she is in her twenties. so i think genetics plays a huge role.
but yea, i dont think any of us really wanna age any faster, it's another reason why doing x at work on the daily is probably not the greatest idea.
lot of people drink/smoke at work on the daily, and that will age you too.

(I had to wait till he left the room)
My ex fiance drinks like a fucking fish. He "only" has a pint of vodka every 2 days and he is obscenely hot. He has long black hair, hazel eyes, a huge horse cock and he can fuck for hours on end. The reason I left him is that he is a holy terror when he drinks. I had to cut a visit with Kylea short because we had to get to the liquor store before it closed.
I know some people that can do a line of coke at a party and are just fine. I'm not one of them. My eyes get like Cookie Monster.
I agree everything in moderation. If you can do a bump and be fine at work, great. I'm just not one of those people. It took almost dying, a few stints in rehab and a deviated septum to make me realize that.

Chris' father was also a heroin addict, so he is very anti drug. He doesn't knock people who do it recreationally, but he told me that he is glad I've been clean for 3 years. He knows about my past and that's why I love him.
