^ ... Lol

Drugs are not bad, it is how people react to them that determines things. If you are a fiend like me, stay the hell away from them. If you can handle them, great! I have nothing against people who stay sober by choice (me) or people who do narcotics recreationally and are perfectly functional.
I just can't deal with outright addicts. My ex roomie was a junkie and I could never find any clean cutlery because she used it to cook her shit.
Most of today's drug laws evolved due to prejudices against the perceived customs of certain cultures. A very good series to check out is Hooked: Illegal Drugs and how they got that way on the History channel.
I am going to be an addict till the day I die. 3 years clean doesn't change shit. It could slip away at any time. I thank a higher power for each day that I'm clean.
However, if you can function and maintain a balanced lifestyle, awesome.
I'm just too all or nothing. Sobriety and learning discipline has come with age and learning to control my excesses.

This comes across as condescending and self righteous. That's great that you " LOVE" working in the sex industry and selling your body and time to men you don't know but most women don't. I don't hate my job or use drugs to make it more enjoyable but I can't say I love it and don't think someone on a high horse preaching drug abstanance on a thread where someone is asking for peoples experience working on a certain drug is cool. I personally don't do drugs at work myself but it has nothing to do with my love for the job. Kudos because you are part of a small minority of people in this country that LOVE what they so for a living. Hopefully in a few years I can say the same but at this point it's just what I do to help support
my family and have some financial security down the line. Proud non- lover of my job!

L M A O .. at least you make sense AND make a very good point.
Avery, I drink energy drinks... It does not make me high. I don't drink it to the point where I forget myself. I also didn't know people got high off of those. Yes and it is BETTER because it is illegal and I haven't seen or heard of a case where someone died from drinking too many energy drinks. Hell people get high off of paint.. Fact of the matter is, Some people are just Stupid.

We were at the wawa I had 2 red bulls, a wawacino, and a cappucino. He was like "Put some of those back". BTW the wawacinos suck ass

You are a bit late because last time I checked I quit escorting. I guess you don't follow my posts here on sw. :-) Well news flash .. oh and just FYI I looooooooved selling my body to rich/powerful/prominent business men for insane amount of money... I always felt super HOT and super validated afterwards.. Never once did I think "I'm going to use my money and buy drugs now".
sO what you don't think it's cool? I am not seeking popularity. This is a public forum. Don't like what I have to say then ignore me. Simple. Wtf is up with super sensitive people posting their nonsense? UGH! Freedom of speech here the last time I checked! Can't handle the heat.. stay the hell out of the kitchen. I am going to post my opinion whether you like it or NOT.I don't hate my job or use drugs to make it more enjoyable but I can't say I love it and don't think someone on a high horse preaching drug abstanance on a thread where someone is asking for peoples experience working on a certain drug is cool.
Suuurree you don't.I personally don't do drugs at work myself but it has nothing to do with my love for the job.
Seriously NO offense but you sound VERY clueless and lost. There are lots of people that LOVE what they do. Funny just because you don't .. you feel the majority of people hate their jobs. Super weird!Kudos because you are part of a small minority of people in this country that LOVE what they so for a living.
Just FYI sweetie, I have held several positions in this industry and Escorting and FBSM were definetely the best most fulfilling jobs ever. Yup there are a lot of women out there that feel the same way! Dancing SUCKED!!!! I could NEVER again. Kudos to those top earners that make BANK each and every night without selling their souls!
That is very sad.. but good for you.Hopefully in a few years I can say the same but at this point it's just what I do to help supportmy family and have some financial security down the line. Proud non- lover of my job!
Lol, do you know a bunch of meth-heads?!?
Seriously though....Yes, some drugs will age you very quickly. However, regular recreational drug use usually won't. There are many examples of this on this board, such as Athena, Avery, Jessie, myself, and I'm sure countless others.
As was already stated....many "drug" haters are totally addicted to caffeine, nicotine, or alcohol. But these substances are a-okay purely because archaic laws weren't passed to ban them by ignorant people decades ago?![]()

A couple things... I never said "its ok to do drugs because doctors do it". I was just saying that all sorts of professionals use drugs and even at work...whether its right or wrong is not really up for me to decide. I decide what is right and wrong in my own life. Am I going to continue to see a doc if I know he/she is doing drugs at work? Hell no. But Im not here to tell them what to do. My actions of not seeing them indicate its not working for me.
I also agree that although I enjoy stripping. It is not a career for me. I work fucking hard at my "real life". So when I go to work to earn my $$ to pay for my future I want to relax. I dont want to feel like Im slaving away. I already have 55 hours of uni a week minimum so when you start adding being a wife and work on top, I get no time with friends and no time to myself. Having drinks at work or doing the occasional line is my "downtime" I have no other time for it, so work is when I relax and enjoy myself.
I also do not think everyone should do drugs and more power to those who havent tried it. I think...stay strong and stick to your guns. But what I dont like, is those who have not tried judging the situation. You can only really know until youve been there. Sure everyone knows some junkie that makes it look horrible but there are lots of normal functioning people who do drugs and if they know you are against it, they arent going to tell you. It takes one to know one and because a few of my friends dont do coke they would have no idea when someone is on it. It is possible to take it without looking "high". Thats why its so addictive. Theres stories of one partner in a relationship being on coke for years and the other having no idea because they just didnt know what to look for. I can spot a coke user a mile away. But that doesnt mean that somtimes Ive thought someone was high when they werent and not high when they were.
I do agree that drugs age you. And I think its a big risk. You are playing with fire because you dont really know how you will react to them. If you think you'd be an addictive type, then its better not to start. Also if you are going to feel guilty about it then its not worth it either.
For me Im glad I tried it though. I was 22 when I tried for the first time and I had one of the nest experiences of my life. It definitely changed how I see the world in both good and bad ways. My mind was opened and I dont regret it.
Im at the stage now where if I never did drugs again I dont really think I would miss them because I kinda got it out of my system. However, I do still enjoy them especially x at a huge dance party once or twice a year or a gram of coke with 4 friends just chilling and chatting the night away.

1. No I do not follow your posts
2. Your right, you have a right to your opinion and I have a right to disagree and vice versa. No need to state the obvious
3. As far as you questioning my drug use after I already made that clear.. I dunno maybe you have a need to paint people who dont agree with your stance as drug users
4.No YOU sound clueless, a large number of people in this country barely have a job right now. Read a newspaper, people are taking jobs way below their qualifications and previous levels of income just to stay afloat
5. There is nothing sad about it. Im a work in progress and on my way to where I want to be.

honestly, i'm sober now and to me that's what matters. while i think it's a lot more common in sc's to drink or use, it really is more common in other industries as well...which makes sense when you think about the number of people who drink and use drugs. i know quite a few stoners who smoke weed before work to get through the monotony of a retail job or working in food. some people are addicts, some keep it in moderation and others never do drugs or drink...and there's everywhere in between. i think the number of girls and amount of drinking and drugs is magnified in sc's but it doesn't mean this shit isn't happening elsewhere. there are alcoholics and addicts in every profession. if someone is getting fucked up repeatedly at work, whether it be working in a sc, bar or club, they may have a problem. but, it's not my place to judge.
at one point i became the sloppy fucked up girl at work and it was bad, even when i wasn't working, so i stopped drinking and using and have been sober since. but again, i'm not gonna go around like "oh you use drugs moderately but aren't addicted? yeah right." i guess i'm not the best example of a stripper because while i started out working sober, i definitely didn't continue on that path and would use the excuse of going to work to get fucked up. so i really would hate to see that happen to other girls out there.
also, i do have to agree that the drug laws are retarded. but that's a completely different debate. mostly because i could list a multitude of reasons as to why the drug laws have failed.

^ Holy shit Avery... your parents are HOT! hahaha Honestly the biggest factor in ageing is simply genetics. So you are going to be hot for a long time lol

I recommend it.
I'm glad you figured that out.2. Your right, you have a right to your opinion and I have a right to disagree and vice versa. No need to state the obvious
That is funny.3. As far as you questioning my drug use after I already made that clear.. I dunno maybe you have a need to paint people who don't disagree with your stance as drug users
I guess I am a "minority" but I frikking LOVE my job. I make damn good money and I don't have to shake my ass at the club. I work from a luxe studio and have guys that buy me gifts and give me insane amounts of money to be their "arm candy". Of course I love my job. Sure I don't work a 9-5 but I have steady income. I am the envy of all my friends and have helped friends that wanted to get in the business become independent business women/ the envy of THEIR friends.4.No YOU sound clueless, a large number of people in this country barely have a job right now. Read a newspaper, people are taking jobs way below their qualifications and previous levels of income just to stay afloat
I am a leader not a follower I think outside of the box. That's why you can NEVER read a post about me complaining because I really can't. complain. Some people say it's all hype but those people haven't met me. I have also met a handful of sw'ers that will tell you... I am the read deal. SURE there are no jobs right now.. yeah yeah people complain but smart people create their own job and become their OWN BOSS.
Nothing makes me happier than money. I am a money hungry GREEDY but smart bitch! I guess this is why I can't spend my money on drugs.
Trust me, You're the one that's clueless. You need new friends. That. is. all.
4 years and I'm already there. Currently working on my industry exit5. There is nothing sad about it. Im a work in progress and on my way to where I want to be.![]()

Avery,
Interesting. Yeah you were trying to justify it.. but it's ok.
Your mom is pretty btw.

No, Kayla, I wasn't justifying it. (why does it seem you like you always want to argue??)
I was giving an example of how things aren't always as they seem. And I used an example of something personal....and close to me, and what I know.
I've known stone cold sober people who have never touched a drug who were seriously fucked in the head and BAD people.
Not everyone who does drugs is bad.
FANTASTIC for those who don't do drugs, or who have families who have never been involved in them...that's great...really it is, but I don't think it's fair to judge anyone.
Who gives a shit what people do on their free time as long as it's not affecting you.
and yeah, maybe I'd think differently if I was never around drugs....
