Default Having fun on the job

I had my first dancing job earlier this year. I only stayed at the club for a few months. I liked the job well enough, but found myself very intimidated by the club and the high tip outs and everything so that eventually I was stressing out so much I thought it better to quit. I'm thinking about starting over at a different club now, and I want this to be a better experience.

My question is, what do you do to make money but have fun at the same time? I'm always more relaxed if I'm having a good time and I think that's what I never achieved at my first club. Do you need to have fun or is the money making incentive enough to keep you motivated? I'd really appreciate any feedback!

Eat pussy in the dressing room. Make obscene gestures with hot dogs. Leave rows of baby powder unattended.(that was actually involuntary. I noticed some spilled baby powder on the DR table so I put it into neat little rows a la Cheech and chong. When I came back it was gone) glue change to the floor to see who will pick it up.

It's definitely better if you're having fun at work since the time goes by faster, but when it comes down to it, dancing IS a job. Working at a less intimidating club with lower tip outs will probably help you out a lot since you won't be as stressed about making $x. Just focus on the bright side of things, and try and see the good in every situation/customer. Pretend you're having fun until you actually are!

I think having a friendlier relationship with the other dancers would make a big difference. The girls at my first club weren't vicious or competitive but they were standoffish.

find a club with low fees and set a realistic goal. I take $300 bills and set one for each night. One night is my phone bill, etc. Most of the time I make wayyy more but it helps to not be freaking out over money. If I can have fun and chat and dance the customers want to be arounde me
    Yes, I'm real.

Yeah, the fees at my first club were extreme, which I wouldn't have cared about if I was really banking, but I was doing just okay. I've already targeted a few differenct clubs where the fees will probably be more moderate. Thanks for the advice!

I try to avoid prowling around like a hungry alley cat. Customers sense that and it turns em off.
