    Default Serious question (SRS)

Long time since I have logged on but,
Here is my question, did not know were else to post this but thought I could get a honest answer from you girls.

My wife has been looking into bleaching her crack on her butt. She has been reading stuff alot online but has been getting mixed reveiws on the products. What is the best thing for the money I could buy her hopefully from a local store ?

    Thanks in advance

Do you mean hydroquinone? Obagi carries one. (To get a higher percentage, I'm not sure if that has to be prescribed or not).

Yes. she also read some where that "hydroquinone" was really toxic and could cause cancer ? Thats what kinda gave her a red flag .

    True

    http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1349-7006.1991.tb01783.x/abstract

(this study was for oral administration though)

The issue seems to be with long term usage and high doses.

Tbh, maybe you can explore if there are any hydrogen peroxide products. The drug store percentage is typically 3% concentration I think (off the top of my head).

I don't know if there is any definitive empirical evidence on hydroquinone and skin cancer, but simply on theoretical grounds I would recommend being extremely careful with any sort of skin-bleaching compound.

Anything that bleaches (including hydrogen peroxide) does so by creating free radical molecules. Free radicals are extremely damaging to the large molecules that cells need to function properly, including DNA. Normally (when bleaching hair, for example), skin is protected somewhat by a fairly impervious outer layer of dead cells, but bleaching skin requires getting in to the deeper layers where pigment-producing cells (melanocytes) are found. Since melanocytes are also the cells involved in melanoma, exposing them to a bleaching agent seems to me to be just asking for trouble.

Are there any other options that your wife might consider? Some sort of cover-up, perhaps?

^^ I use 'Veet' Aloe Vera hair removal creme for 'sensitive' skin. It removes the hair AND bleaches the skin. Use a drop about 'plum' size and spread it around the perianal area (NOT inside). Leave it on for 10-12 minutes (or if it begins to sting) - and wash off in the shower with a MILD shampoo. Lasts about 6-8 weeks and it doesn't damage the skin.

Great info, I dont think she wants a cover up. she is leaning towards something a little more long term. I dont even know why she has this thought in her head she even needs it . she already has pretty light skin and pretty light other parts .

Just a note. She won't look like Snow White right away - it will take maybe three times (which she COULD do in 2 months) - but then she really WILL notice a difference. She can keep doing it with no worries about any nasty burns - and it feels SOOOO smooth. Looks cute too, and it's awesome for tiny thongs and panties.
