It happens in every club. Honestly Ive never seen African American dancers do well and its not their fault. Guys are just like that! It sucks but its reality.

Asians dont do that well either but I havent seen as many attractive and sexy asians as I have african american dancers.

Ive never seen a muslim dancer though- not sure how the custies would react to those burkha things they wear!

    i know how to respond.

she hasn't 'seen them do well' because many top-earning black and asian dancers are wise enough to keep that from white dancers who might try to get them fired for outearning them.

at least, that is my experience being a dancer of color who outearned white dancers regularly.

as for the burqa comment, she simply lacks information about the diversity of the muslim community to believe that all muslim women wear burqas all the time.

Maybe she hasn't dealt with Muslims at all. I went to a grad school with a high percentage and they are just as varied as anyone else. In fact one of my classmates was from Jordan and she never wore a burka or a headscarf AT ALL. If you didn't know she was from a Muslim country you'd never know. Then again Jordan is a Muslim country but nothing like Saudi Arabia (or any stereotypically Muslim country).

Last night I had a convo in VIP with a black customer about why the majority of his friends chose to take white girls intothe private room. He told me to listen to this song. He said that in his experience the white girls get trashed and allow more extras to happen. He told me that he picked me because I was beautiful but if I wanted to make more money I should learn to " party like a whitegirl". To which he recieved a BLANKSTARE...

    [Verse 1 - Trina]
Don perion people layin on my lawn
    gettin wasted by the cases
and my hairs not even blonde(even blonde)
wanna pull me ova see me crossin ova
im supernova middle finger to a hata if you thought it was ova

    [Pre-Chorus]
like ooh shawty what it do
i wanna get loose and party like a white girl

    [Chorus - Git Fresh]
Baby, I can hear the party
    Get a little naughty
    You turn me on
So baby, let me see you swallow
    Drink it up the bottle
    Let's have some fun
Party like a (white girl) (8x)

I agree with Miabella. You need to get out more. I've had numerous nights where I've made more money than blue eyed blondes at more than one club and I didn't have to do extras.

As for dance contests/pole competitions, any time winners are selected by audience participation instead of actual judges, its too easy for anyone to cheat. All they have to do is bring along their friend(s) and be willing to share the prize money with them. As hungry as people are for money these days, of course they're gonna cheat to win no matter what.

... again, for better or worse, more 'evidence' that the spending decisions of club customers ( thus the hiring decisions of clubowners ) are based on economics rather than racism - or in this particular case a customer expectation of receiving more 'bang' for their buck !

Wow, you forgot to tell that to the majority of people in the southern part of the US; interracial couples in here are the NORM!!!!!!

Well, I really haven't experienced racism. I'm latina (I do have a more Mediterranean/Middle Eastern physique, however), and I had never had problems working at clubs, especially since I'm the only latina in the club I work, but that hasn't been a problem at all.

I get mistaken for Slavic very often, partly 'cause of my accent; I speak a more standard Spanish, which sounds very different to the Spanish spoken here in this continent (you know, Mexican Spanish, Puerto Rican Spanish, etc).

i've done "audience participation" amateur contests, and i won despite not getting much of a reaction (a rather fugly girl did). because i was the hottest. there was a really hot black girl too, but she got 3rd place and a white girl who was less hot than her got 2nd. she and i had been chatting backstage, and i figured she'd get 1st and i'd get 2nd. if the other girls hadn't been straight up fugly and gross, they probably wouldn't have even given her 3rd. extremely unfair. she was very polished and, um "white" too, very valleygirl voice. so it couldn't have been a "she's too ghetto" issue. she wasn't at all.

For the record I didnt say I was against them. Ive been in the business for 5 years and have worked in Florida, El Paso, Dallas, Denver and Las Vegas so I have been around. Maybe its where Ive worked but Ive never seen them do well and they should.

The problem is with the customers not the girls. And yes a lot of customers have issues and some are racist. Some I dont know but its the customers choice I guess. I couldnt get the customer if he liked brunettes or redheads but at least I can change that.

Well, Amy, your experience is your own and no one can disagree with what you've "seen". And what you've observed may align with what many have been discussing here in regards to visual and overt racism. But because you have not 'seen' them do well does not, in effect, mean that they did not actually DO well, unless you have peeked into their purses or stalked them all night to see if/when they did dances, champagne rooms, etc and for how much.

There are many women who are what I'll call "silent earners" who make plenty of money from conversation or with fewer men per night but in larger sums. Some get shooed away openly by the men who reject them, but you have no idea what the men who say yes are paying.

Seeing is believing indeed, but 'belief' is not truth, unequivocally.

    Just sayin'.

Asian guys rarely spend any $$$ and if they do they are not going to spend it on a black girl (of course there are exceptions but its the truth). Asians don't associate with Black people in day-to-day life experiences. So why would you think they are going to get a dance? Most are cheap and racist anyway. Same goes for Indian (from India) customers. They are worse.

I am a black and I am not making any less since before the recession and I don't think more guys are being racist now. Either they are racist or they are not. I've actually gotten dances with so called racist guys.

I feel you on the competition you were talking about. I seen the same thing years ago in Phx.

    1. There is racism everywhere. Yes, I experience racism sometimes but It doesn't stop me from making $$$.

    2. It is about how you hustle. Not what you look like. If you know how to talk good game than you are going to bank every night. 20% Of the girls make 80% of the money at every club. Ever notice that. The same 3-4 chicks every night at every club always banking.

    3. White girls are not the only ones that are top earners. I have worked with more black girls who can hustle than white girls. But it is easier to make $$$ if you are WHITE & KNOW how to Hustle.

    4. White Older Men are the best clientele period. Especially for a black dancer. White older men are less picky and will get a dance from almost any girl. Why even waste time trying to convince an Asian or Indian guy to get a dance when most of them are cheap? (Sorry if I offend anyone but its true) I don't even bother with them unless the club is real slow but then why even bother....

Excuse me but... I FUCKING hate!!! How black girls (@jamaica) try to speak for each other as a whole. From what I have found every black girls expereince is diff, black girls should realize that if you walk around with that "because I'm black" mentality you will get no where! " oh he won't get a dance because I'm black" "oh she made more money than me because I'm black" "oh he is being a jerk because I'm black" "oh she gets tipped more on stage because I'm black" "oh he said no to me because I'm black" seriously! Stop being a fucking victim and speak for your damnself. I'm thinking asian men love any1 who will let them touch for cheap...and from watching american tv...white girls are prob the ones who fit that stigma. Hell even watching porn will display that to them...even that this may not be the case! I out earn white chicks everyday! And while have being there the shortest period of time.

Where the hell have you been working?

Most of the clubs I've worked at, the black girls were the top earners in most of the clubs.
I've had many friends who were black, and they were some of the hardest hustlers I've worked with....and always did good.

Even out here, in a corn field, one of the clubs I worked at, the top earner was a black girl.

and as for Asian girls....omg, what guy doesn't like an Asian girl? In Vegas, there was a particular club I worked at that had many Asian girls and they were ALWAYS doing dances.

I dunno, maybe I've worked at more diverse clubs, because there have been MANY, MANY times were I've seen ethnic girls make WAYYY more than the "all American girl".

I guess just from the clubs that I've worked at, guys like exotic.
Hell, there were times I got dances because guys thought I was Egyptian or Middle Eastern...(or something else exotic and foreign)
I'm just a boring white girl from Phoenix..lol

This is just a forum no reason to get bent out of shape. Where did I say that I was speaking for every black girl. I am speaking for myself. I have worked at over 50 clubs in 10 states. Like you even said Asians want girls for cheap and Like I said in my post Asian guys are cheap. When I'm dancing I'm there to bank not to bargain or haggle for dances sorry.

Where did I say anything about I make less or any black girl makes less because they are black. You need to learn how to read, I said it's about how a girl hustles not what she looks like (this includes race, age, size) but It is easier for an attractive white girl to make $$$ (appeal to more guys) IF she knows how to hustle thats what I said. (This does not mean only white girls make the most).

I don't need to boast about how much I make or that I make more $$$ than white girls. I'm a top earner. I'll just leave it at that.

Most guys will get a dance from just about anybody. Guys go to strip clubs to get attention from girls. Anyone can be a top earner it has nothing to do with race. If you know how to hustle and are not one of those girls who talks to guys for free all night long, sit at the bar or in the dressing room complaining you will make $$$.
