    Default Self-Tanner Help

Do you apply your self tanner EVERYWHERE on your body? Including your genital region? Its likely a fairly stupid question but I am a complete newb to all things tanned. I want to avoid "tan lines", but if its unsafe or looks silly than im willing to deal with that.
Also, should I apply a different amount to the stretchmarks on my thighs?

I am also curious if self tanner covers stretch marks as well as a tanning bed. Im trying to avoid the later if possible.

My last question, because I am so pale, will I look orange unless I get some tanning bed time first?

Ive been pale all my life, so im excited to try something new, even if its just for a short time. Im not 100% sold because I do enjoy the edge being pale gives me, but I want to try something new and kill two birds with one stone. (new and cover stretch marks a bit)

    Thanks for your time!

I always wear a thong when I apply self tanner. You definitely do NOT want that stuff on your girly bits! If you don't want tan lines, just use a sponge to blend the tanner into your "lines" after you remove your panties, but make sure you don't get any on your labia. I clean myself down there thoroughly with a baby wipe after tanner application, as well as on my knees, elbows and soles of feet. You might want to apply lotion to your knees, ankles and elbows before application as well, so that they absorb less tanner.
You won't look orange if you apply it properly and use a quality tanner. BUT, if this is your first time doing it, expect it not to look perfect! Start with doing only coat of a "light" or "medium" tanner and as you get more proficient with applying, you can graduate towards stronger products. ANd USE GLOVES!! You don't want to have to spend 20 minutes scrubbing your hands afterwards.
I don't really have stretch marks, but I do have a few scars from a childhood fire accident and the tanner always helps to blend them in with my "normal" skin. Nothing will cover stuff like that or stretchmarks completely, but it does make a big difference. Don't apply extra tanner to your marks, though-it will show up on the skin around the marks and will look really uneven. The better the tanner is blended onto your skin, the more even and less orange it looks.
I've been self tanning for 10 years now, I've got this stuff down to a science I, too, am really naturally pale and while I don't usually rock the super-tan Barbie look, with my yellow undertones nothing will convince me that I don't look better with a healthy glow. Especially under the strip club lights!
