Have you talked to your husband about her?
I would have him talk to her, see if he can knock some sense into her.

If not, tell her if she wants to stay with you, she needs to keep her mouth shut.
Or else she can go find a more "acceptable" place to stay at since your house is "such a mess".

    What a bitch...personally, I'd kick her in the face..lol

I would take avery's advice. I tried to think of the nicest way to help but I'm banned from my mate's sisters for a reason...

I'd say something like "since you're such an expert, why don't you do it". That usually shuts people up when I say it. Otherwise I'd just bite my tongue.

This is the best way. Saying anything directly could cause all kinds of unpleasantness. This woman is very obviously riddled with insecurities and hang-ups, so a direct confrontation could cause her a lot of distress. She's classic spinster material...almost the perfect stereotype of the neurotic unmarried teacher, which means she is also incredibly sensitive inside.

'Kelly' makes a good point....so too is 'Avery's' idea of talking this through with your husband.

Unfortunately with people like this, biting your tongue is the only way sometimes. You will be rewarded for your tolerance though, it will make you a far better person than being the cause of a family argument.
