This diet is extremely strict. Have any of you ladies been successful in sticking to it for a lengthy period of time?

"I very much resent it when people - maybe with good intentions or from a progressive point of view - keep telling me, 'It's their culture' ... It's like saying the culture of Massachusetts is burning witches." -Azar Nafisi

I do it a few days out of the week. I think it helps me to flush my system. I believe Charlie went full raw a few months ago. There's some other ladies on here who include a lot of raw meals in their diet.
BTW, I FINALLY found a spiralizer! Bed Bath & Beyond didn't have them the first time I looked, but with the holidays they are now carrying them. This is the one I got:

I highly recommend getting one if you like pasta & need to be able to do raw pasta.
Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

I've already written so much about this- I'm high raw vegan, have been for a little over 2 years now. there are pros and cons to it like anything but after experimenting with varying amounts of raw I find that unless you are living in a tropical climate or a very hot one like southern new mexico, ca, AZ, texas, and the southeast (even they have seasons) most people do best on a high raw gluten-free all vegan diet because according to traditional chinese medicine, it creates dampness in the body and can be very unbalancing. I do know people who are successful raw foodists 100% of the time no matter where they live- even colorado in the winter! Personally I was miserable eating salads and smoothies in 2 degree weather and my body started digesting/assimilating better when i added in simple cooked grains- like quinoa and brown rice.
try it out! The thing that is important is that you are adding more fresh fruits/veggies to your diet-- don't focus on being 100 percent at first and do NOT go nut/seed heavy as tempting as it is with all the gourmet prepared raw food- that will just make your stomach miserable!
