@she sells sanctuary- no no one in my personal life gave me any shit for it- everyone knows I have always hated my nose my whole life and honestly I think it was one of those noses that when I complained about it no one said anything back like "it's not the bad, it's small, etc" because it really was a big ugly nose. I didn't really tell too many people though, just my roommates, stripper friends, family and my ex.
@ twinkle toes- I felt no pain the entire time. I knew what to expect though- and what you will feel is discomfort and possibly a sinus headache-y feeling. I did wake up a couple times on the 2nd/3rd day from having a pretty bad sinus headache feeling but i took extra strength tylenol and it went away. i am the biggest baby about needles/surgery but i am getting over it- it's totally worth it. I even woke up when they were taking out the breathing tube in the OR when the anesthesia was wearing off and the surgery was over and i just didn't care because i was so drugged up. If you really want it- do it- the pain is minimal if any. I would do it again in a second. The first couple nights suck because you breathe through your mouth and it's dry- but a week of discomfort for a lifetime of not having to hide under your hair and avoid letting people see you from the side is definitely worth it.
they also broke my nose in three places- so that could explain the headaches i had. Every case is different- but i do recommend my doc if you want a natural look with no bruising- i had none and he said very few of his patients do.

You look great. Thanks for posting. I plan to get my own nose done next year, so am very interested in the results and recovery experiences of others.

here's what my profile is looking like today:

Soooo super cute hunny, way to go!!!

I've decided to get my nose done next year. How do you tell them what type of nose you want? Do you just take in pictures or do you need to know specific terms for how you want it changed?

I just had my nose done in June and it's really tender.

Once the swelling in the tip goes down it will look more hollywood cookie cutter. Mine deffinitley is and it took around 6 months to get there. I told my dr. I wanted drastic and it didnt look that way at first but it did around 6 months latter.

My nose is similar to your "before" nose and I've been looking into getting a nose job... a bit pricey but definitely worth it. Your doctor did a great job!!

Lovely.

my doctor said it could take up to a year
