Cell Phone Squeaky girly voice...on a tall woman?

Help! I don't think I can truly be confident with my voice. It's squeaky and girly.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JrU86YgmDM

I have no idea how I stumbled onto this girl's video, but she has the EXACT same voice as I do. Creepy.

I'm also 5'11, and I have a really sultry, exotic, "dominant" look so to speak, so the voice just does NOT match with me or my personality at all. Fortunately I'm skinny, otherwise it'd be a really weird voice for someone of average or BBW weight. haha

I want a warm, rich alluring "womanly" voice....like Angelina Jolie or Reese Witherspoon's voices for instance. Something that just MATCHES my appearance and my personality.

    Teh voice kills teh hustle.

Is there a way I can "train my voice"?

That girl's voice doesn't sound squeeky at all to me. And Reese Witherspoon's voice is nowhere near what I would call rich or womanly (more likely girly). If your voice sounds like the girl in the video's then you don't have anything to worry about. It sounds totally normal.

So I'm kind of confused about what you wish you sounded like!

You can re-train your voice, the same way that you learn how to sing. Its not that hard, but I'm also not sure that it is that worth it!! I wouldn't worry about it...if its REALLY affecting your confidence (and so your sales) then go to a voice coach.
I take cash, debit or credit. I just don't take shit.

I did the exact opposite thing that you tried to do, since I do have that Jolie "rich" voice (sans British accent). I'm tall, muscular, severe look, and I felt that my voice was the only way that I could compensate for it. So I made my voice higher, boucier (like the girl on 2 1/2 men, lol) to make myself more feminine.

I never thought someone would actually WANT a voice like mine instead.
