    Default Plastic Surgeons Hustling Strippers????

Came across a group of doctors at work.. One OB GYN and 2 plastic surgeons. They were complete douchebags. They blabbed about how important they were and one even went so far as to google himself on his phone so I could SEE he was a doctor. Um, yeah ... So.....

In the course of conversation, he tells me" your on your hustle and so are we" The long and short of it was he goes to strip clubs and finds and chats up low self esteem dancers and maybe buys a dance or 2 while telling them they are so nice and would really probably make more money with bigger tits, a tummy tuck, a nose job etc. He tells them his normal price is X but he will do it for a lesser amount because he really thinks you are special and wants to help you. There is no discount, and he just spent 40$ to make 4,000$ or more. Wow. Oh and he also mentioned that he will do work for sex or cocaine.

Shady. I did some champagne rooms with a cosmetic surgeon once. My friend joined some of the time. We are both natural, never had anything done. He never once made a single comment about our looks that wasn't complimentary and sweet. So, they aren't all bad!

But yeah, I really really REALLY hate it when people come to my place of business and try to sell me something. It happens in my current line of work too on occasion.

Haha this kinda sounds like guys saying they want a dancer/escort/cam girl who isn't all about the profit. I bet profit is the main motivating factor and I'm cool with that.

Either way, I think a profit-based surgeon could be a good thing ...if he know I was a sex worker. Maybe he'd do a better/more careful job knowing my friends have disposable $ as well.

This guy sounds like both a douchebag and, if he's good at his game, a great businessman. Its not a style that I admire but I kinda respect out-of-the-box thinking.

okay that would seriously piss me off. guys come into strip clubs for all kinds of reasons, it's not always to admire/adore women and throw money at them with no ulterior motive, but that's just shady and low.

i met a dentist/orthodontist one time while i was with another dancer, kinda hustling together to see what would happen. he approached us both, complimented her amazingly perfect teeth (she has a white, straight grill to die for) but picked me to spend money on because i was more what he was looking for, even though i have crowded teeth that i haven't been able top much money on. i don't make much of an effort to whiten either, usually, aside from a whitening toothpaste. closest i have ever got to an insult/backhanded compliment about my teeth at work. other customers (not surgeons) tell me i have an awesome smile and great healthy teeth, not like the cover of people magazine but no snaggle, not green or rotted out from drugs either. i look friendlier, more approachable when i am grinning like an idiot also, one of those faces that if my mouth is closed i look really snobby/haughty. she gave me the look like "whatever about this dude" and went to flash her fabulous smile/boobies at other paying customers. didn't bother her, but kinda weirded me out. i didn't really feel like smiling at him after all that, or scheduling an appointment...lol

I've seen this happen before. It's almost similar to extras guys, & you can easily treat them as such. They aren't supposed to try to solicite customers in clubs, so you can report them to management. Or you can use a reverse hustle by complaining about physical features that don't even bother you, & get them to buy more dances by thinking they'll gain a customer... then simply don't ever have the surgeries. There's also the "just walk away" option. Which one you choose will probably vary according to how many other quality customers are around.

A dancer could easily tell any surgeon that & get the same sort of high attention to detail from them. I'm very open with doctors in general about what I do, so a lot of times they actually want to talk to me because they are curious about our business. I have multiple friends who are various types of doctors, & a lot of their customers are either dancers themselves or were referred by dancers, so they know that we don't just have money... we have the physical cash to spend without them jumping through hoops to get it - so yes, of course they want our business.

D: i cannot believe what im reading???? shouldnt healthcare professionals be trusted and well respected members of society??
actually forget it, my GP was getting all creepy on me during a visit
however since he had a thing for me i could use that to my advantage and got him to prescribe me xanax [i did need it though, but he gave it to me a lot easier than any other doctor would have]. just had to cry in front of him.

but fuuuck actually prying on low self esteem girls to give someone unnecessary surgery?
also, i would have little faith in it turning out okay..... obviously theyre shit if business is so slow they have to hustle strippers for work

    This does not surprise me.

When I was 20 and just starting out, I needed a little dental work.

I met a dentist at work with a good reputation who spent generously on me. I told him what I wanted to do and he told me he would give me a free-bee if I showed up and pretended to be a rep or something similar and that he wanted me to mess with him in the office...

UGH. Bringing back bad memories. Gross.

Pure, I think the doctors you are talking about have been watching too much "Nip/Tuck!" LOL

I would hustle these guys as customers but I would NEVER give my business to such shady individuals as doctors.

Besides, the reputable docs aren't in the clubs trying to hustle for customers, they have plenty of business from word of mouth. And who would ever go to a doc knowing he had a coke problem, yikes!!!!! If you can confirm that they are who they said they are, you'd be doing a lot of women a great service if you wrote up a review on these guys.

Ugh, I got hustled by a dentist that I went to see for a cleaning/ check-up. He was the only dentist I told that I was a dancer and the only dentist that didn't stop talking about cosmetic prcedures I didn't need and cosmetic alternatives to the cavity-fillings that I actually did need. He tried to tell me that capping my cavity-laden teeth in porcelin was the only way to go. No, sir, I actually don't mind visible metal fillings and yes, I know that you CAN provide them.

What assholes, just cause they are doctors, or dentists, or whatever it shows their personality, it shows how they wanted to treated back. I would treat them like assholes, I dont need to be commented megativly on myself and espically from them. A doctor who is hussling his business, and offering his services for drugs on a side is a big no-no. I would deff write a bad review on him, I wouldnt want to go to a coked up doctor.

I met a brain surgeon from Europe one time, he was nice, he had botox, he gave me some feedback when I asked him a few questions. But some of his statments were out of line, he was talking about some of the dancers' ages, faces, bodies etc.. not all were negative, but I didnt need to hear " her eyes dont match nose" etc. But I still took him as a customer and nothing more.

Wow he must be a really shit surgeon if he needs to do that to drum up business. My surgeon virtually does not advertise at all. Doesn't need to. I probably would have said... "wow you must be pretty desperate for business if you need to come to strip clubs to get customers. Oh and by the way... youre a douchebag. From this day forth I shall call you Dr. Douchebag."
