I'm working, but only because I have a customer that is paying me a whole lot of money to spend the whole evening with him at the club. Otherwise, I'm not sure I would be working.

I think it depends on the club, honestly. My club closes at 6 pm on New Years Eve b/c they havent been able to do enough business to make it worth it. However, New Years Day is supposed to be busy, so I might pull a double and see how it goes.
I would talk to other girls who have been there and ask if it is usually busy

If you are a hard worker then you probably won't earn too much more in dances, but the money on stages is normally more. Plus, come midnight you are almost guaranteed to have a champagne room.
Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

Its one of the best nights in the business. Along with Valentines! and your birthday should also be an easy day to make money.

it can be pretty great, but it depends on the area, how people there celebrate. seems to be best at clubs that are open later. there tends to be a lot of guys going to clubs after parties end and stuff.
it's also on a friday night this year, and i'll bet almost anything that saturday will probably be pretty big too, since the party attitude will probably carry on through the weekend for a lot of people.
one of the reasons it can be so good is that a lot of girls don't want to work. they'd rather go out with their friends and have fun. especially dancers who are responsible grown ups irl, with kids and stuff. if you think you'll regret a great time with people you care about, don't work. if you don't mind missing out, work.
-love everyone but keep them far from your soul-

I can not friggin wait for Friday to come. I can see all the money now. Ahhhhh *has a moment*

a dui lawyer also told me that new years eve accounts for 11% of duis nationally in a year.
and i'll be taking a cab home! leave my car at the club or something. yea i drink a little of my own alcohol at and before work to loosen up so i will not be driving!!! too much of a risk even if i have a little alcohol in me. yep ditchin the partyin for money makin! hope i dont regret it....

New Year's is super busy at my club, which is a relief, because around Christmas we were dead as hell. I worked last night and made some easy money... but I don't know if I want to work New Year's Eve. My boyfriend wants to go out, so I'll probably do that instead. Gonna to be thinking $$$ the whole night, though!

^^^ Really? I was thinking you were like 20 when I met you. Hasn't it been more than a year? Seems like you would be 21 now.

NYE sucked balls at my club. It was plenty busy though, filled with girls, couples, and broke men that were just coming to get wasted.

Worst night ever. We finished 4 hours early.

NY's we stayed open later than 8. We closed at 2 instead of 3, and there were less than 5 girls there but we were busy and didnt have time to really sit down at all

I have always worked new years eve and banked over a thousand easy. But this year, I decided to go out. It was so boring. I got dressed up, drank, and danced. I could've done all that while getting paid. I saw three chick fights break out, and worse my new dress had drink stains from all the drunkards. Never again! I rather work, even if its two hundred. Its better than dealing with public retardness!

I stayed at home with my mom and daughter which was the first time ever Ive been in on NYE. Too cold and snowy to drive. Ive hardly ever driven on snow and ice since I spend most of my time in Las Vegas and West Palm Beach so probably a good idea.

It was a solid average weekend night which I was thankful for since it started slow and I was prepared to only walk with 200 so I was happy. My club (notmynormal club-- I called them and they said they had enough girls. Thank God. One of my custieswent to party there and he said there were waaay too many girls, few custies, and best I skipped) was doing an after hours breakfast which I thought was really cool. I
went to pick up myboyfriend forthe breakfast with my manager's okay, but he had a headache so I got a nice thirty minute break to shower and getbeautiful before goingback and working the last hour and making 100 to add to my pile. Poor club employees! They were exhausted!
I think when I got therethere were 12 dancers and more leaving throughout the night. We ended with 5 dancers.

Never seen such a miserable NYE bunch. First NY I'd worked but all the girls were saying how much better it was last year. started at 7, had only made $100 (before house fee) before Midnight. Even at midnight when the girls were all on stage with sparklers and party poppers the custies were totally dead-faced and didn't join in with the countdown.
Luckily it picked up, stayed till 7am and only made a few hundred more than I would've on decent Saturday and I was hustling hard (and maybe overcharging a little which I normally never do).

^good for you! You were charging holiday pay or dead-face tax.
I'm looking forward to tonight. I'm going back to my regular club in hopes that, because
It was overrun with girls and slow, very few girls will work tonight!
NYE was lame at my club. I had heard how last year it was great, everyone made over a stack...one girl said she made a G just on stage alone. it wasn't that busy; thursday night was packed and busier...Christmas eve was even better.
at least there weren't too many girls, so I was busy all night but guys were only doing a few dances. I almost had 2 champagne rooms ugh. I made average for a Friday night. I worked from 9 (late for me) to 4. disappointing night but ohh well!
OH! and one customers brought a pair of cubic zirconia earrings and actually tried to sell them to me for $100. I lol'd so hard...especially when he tried to convince me that they were really expensive and precious.
I worked on NYEs.. Empty till after 12am.. I didnt even have to ask around, people were drunk enough then to get dances and we closed at 3am. I hoped for my club to close later since the last 3 hrs were busiest for the girls, not a lot of girls at all.. about 7. Overall good exp, many girls came in with their young bfs,,, shaking my ass was fun infront of them since the girls look really uncomfortable. We also had lots of tippers too.. Since people dont tip on stage here.

Totally sucked.... the only good thing that was supposed to happen was wewere supposed to have brooke hogan at our club, but she was replaced by some washed up baywatch actress. Money sucked.. I don't think ANY. Champagne rooms were sold, except for arrogant customers who just wanted vip rooms for themselves. But they didn't want any girls up there... well they did, until they found out they would have to pay more$. Stage tips sucked. For the first 5 hours me and a bunch of other girls were recycling tips between ourselves, tipping each other on stage because no customers were tipping. I can count on both hands how many people tipped me during my 8 hr shift. Christmas I made a few hundred on stage tips alone, and a couple hundred for dances. It totally sucked and wasn't wasn't worth going in. There was nothing but a bunch of couples, groups, and drunk idios. I hate going on stage, hearing a bunch of people whistle and holler and walking off after a 2 song set set with 3 bucks. Which is how it was last night.
