    Hey girls,

it's Christmas week! Only four days left till the big one! Let's have a conversation!

    Who's working? Who's not working?
    Why or why not?
Are you excited about Friday? Saturday?

Expecting the club to be dead, or awesome?

Wearing red, white, or green? Santa outfits? bells?
Any of you actually Christian or Catholic?

I'm about to go take a shower and get myself pumped up for the night!

Wishing you well for the holidays...
I wish I could be with my family on the other side of the country...
    Cross your fingers for me.

I'm not working CHristmas Eve. Maybe CHristmas day.
Actually, all the girls are wearing XMAS outfits. Not me, I want to stand out in the sea of red & green! I'm wearing a pink gown. Partly because I didn't feel like spending $60-$75 on an outfit I would only wear for a week max and partly because well, IDK lol.
I'm actually catholic. Most of the girls are taking off, so if I do go in, I hope the girls there bank!

yeah, im wearing white... still Christmassy, but something I can wear year-round. Except after labor day. LOL

Do you think it'll be dead on Christmas Eve? Probably huh. What about the week after Christmas? Till New Years Eve?

I had money in my account for tuition (which is due the 1st) and then I went shopping over the weekend and somehow managed to spend like 70% of it soo I was planning on working everyday from Tuesday until the 1st to make the money back. I went into work Tuesday which was the day of my clubs annual Christmas party and as you girls on here would say, I "banked". It was the best night by far that I had ever had since I started dancing. So, I'm not working today or tomorrow. I'll still go in on Friday and Saturday to make some extra spending cash but that's it.

I just had 3 G nights in a row (well, ok, one of those nights was like $940, but I'm counting it still)...so hell no I'm not working this weekend! My club is closed Friday and Saturday, anyway. I'm thrilled to have 4 days off...best of luck to you gals working this weekend, make that $$!!
Liliionaire: In my experience, the holiday money stays good until about a week after New Year's...then it gets really slow for a few months. But a lot of girls also take off in January-I've done it myself-so anything is possible.

I am working Christmas Eve and I expect the club to be busy. My mom was a dancer for 12 years and she worked Christmas Eve EVERY YEAR. She told me she'd make up to 3 G's in one night. Then again that was in the late 80s/early 90s so things have changed. But she was the one to suggest I work Christmas Eve. :-) I plan on the club being busy by atleast 4 pm. I am a little PO'ed because my manager is really pissy with me when it comes to me doing stage...he seriously doesn't let me do stage. whatever. I guess that's more money in the end because I can spend the time I'd be on stage hustling the floor...but still...I love love LOVE stage because I enjoy playing my favorite songs and performing to them. you know? I look at stripping as a performance art, so stage fits that description I guess. hehe

oh definitely. I'm working almost every day. I returned to the club on the 17th and have been doing better every night I worked. I worked last night (Christmas eve) and I did the best I've ever done at the club I'm at. There were only about 14 girls (Compared to about 70 on a regular Friday) and a very decent-sized crowd, so it was great! I stood out by not wearing an xmas outfit for the grand part of the night, but changed into a red long sequined gown for the last 2 hours to be festive. glad the men were in a giving mood

I have never worked either Christmas Day or Eve. I find it extremely offensive when a club is open and REQUIRES dancers to work that day. I once auditioned at a club that told me I would have to work both days and I turned down the job because of that. Yes, I am Catholic and Catholics are Christians. Luckily the other clubs I worked at closed on these days.

I however often worked a few days before Christmas (my last day was usually the 23 or 22 then went back January 2). On these days I often wore Santa hats and danced to Christmas songs.

I find that offensive as well. I am single so I don't mind working christmas or new years however many girls have families and children making it impossible to get a sitter even if they wanted to work or could work. Not to mention its more of a "family" time of year.

I couldn't believe it was required and it made me upset. I don't have kids but spend the day with family. Another dancer said to me she didn't mind because she was Jewish, but it's still not right to force it. If a club decides to be open then make it if they want to and give them incentives. Luckily I haven't encountered this a lot. I do have a friend who got fired because he's very devout Christian and Blockbuster wanted him to work Christmas, and he refused.

Speaking of familiy holidays I once worked a Halloween because most of the dancers wanted off for their kids. I had no problem with this and made a lot of money working that day. It wasn't required though.

My club was crazy on Christmas night. I was one of two dancers there from 9pm to midnight. I was on stage from 9 to 10 and then from 11 to 12. I actually felt bad for the customers (and boy were there a lot of them) because they had to look at just me for an hour. It's pretty friggin hard to come up with new moves for an hour straight. Luckily around midnight like 20 girls came in. It was my second best night ever. I love the holidays =]

i did ok. woke up really late from a nap, so i ended up working a bit under 3 hours. made a bit under 300, which is something since business was slow. but it was free house, and i got a month of free house for working it. if i worked everyday for a month (not that i'm going to), that would be like earning 600.
