Default Energy Drinks: your picks and pans?

I've tried the five hour energy drink and though it made me feel the first couple of times that it was doing something, after that it didn't-- so I felt it was largely a placebo effect.

I picked up a bunch of Meltdown Fat Assault drinks made by VPX on clearance at the local CVS awhile back not knowing anything about them, and I find the Exotic Fruit drink really good! I hate the peach mango flavor, but the exotic fruit one to me tastes really good (though my partner hates the taste and finds it slightly fruit-flavored medicinal tasting.) Now, they're really a thermogenic drink (make you warm, burn some calories) but I use them as energy drinks. Before anyone jumps in to tear me or fat burning drinks down, please keep in mind: I eat more than enough calories so I'm no drinking these in lieu of meals, and I know that a lot of energy/fat burning drinks out there are shams, which is why I wanted to post this-- to ask girls what works for them.)

I also find that it does seem to make me more alert and my brain to just keep want to do stuff.

But I also think that after I finish with these, I'd like to try some different stuff so that my body doesn't get used to ingredients in one thing.

FWIW, these are the ones I'm talking about:

I've taken 5 hour energy which is good, but the price tags on those things really add up fast. I really like the Rockstar blue can because something in it seriously curbs my appetite. After on and off use of ephedra most energy drinks are pretty useless to me to be honest with you, but since you asked the blue Rockstar is my fav.

EndoRush by BSN. The drink comes in a red bottle. It reccomends to take a quarter of the bottle your first time then gradually increase to half the bottle once you start taking it for a short while. Fruit punch is my favorite flavor.

I like 5 hr energy but only drink half at a time since they are so pricey.

I like 7 hr energy drinks better than the 5 hours. The 7's feel stronger, I only take little sips off a bottle. To save in costs, buy online by the case. Especially if you use them to keep you energized at work, might as well stock up and not pay the cornerstore marked up per-unit price.

My prob. w/the energy drinks I've tried (rockstar, redbull, monster) they all taste about the same, that citrus-y taste. Not that it's a terrible thing..but eh. I try to get the sugar-free, I can be sensitve to sugar.
One thing I like, not an energy drink, it's in a packet, & is basically a multi vitamin thing that you mix w/water or juice.

I love the Starbucks Double Shots and Java Monsters. I can't do the regular energy drinks (Redbull, Rockstar, Monster etc) because as someone else said they all taste the same and the first time I had Redbull was in a Jagerbomb so anything I drink it it's like I'm drinking a Jagerbomb. Lol.

5 hr energy and Starbucks Doubleshot Light for me. They are the only thing that doesn't taste so vile it makes me sick. I've drank 1-2 a day for the last year and they've never gotten to the point where they don't work for me.

Oh, and I was a ephedra fan for years. Couldn't get through a night without 3-4 minithins....and that was before they weakened em up and made them bigger, it took 6-7 after the change.
