The best thing i have heard in a strip club to date:
customer: we should get married right now! we should get a shotgun marriage!
me: uhh... i think you are misunderstanding what a shotgun marriage means. A shotgun marriage means you knock me up and my daddy shows up at your door with a gun and forces you to marry me and raise the baby. You mean elope.
customer: hmm... nah actually i will take the shotgun marriage. At least then we would be having sex.

I'm thinking that your birth control had something to do with it. I've had friends who were on birth control, went off and their sex drive went up big tme. One was the opposite of you, she never fantasized about sex with women then once off the pill she wanted to sleep with a woman. No idea if she did though.
Though rare, I've heard of people going on spurts with different types of sex, so maybe this is the case? I still think it's because of the pill.

Most of my ever-changing-sexuality female friends now label themselves omnisexual or pansexual. At first it got a raised eyebrow from me (since my orientation is pretty much fixed), but now I understand.

I find it amusing that you called me about this today, & I had noticed your sexual orientation changing months ago. I called that one! I even SAID I thought it was from the hormones.
Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

I have had similar issues with you over the course of my life... I have always known I liked men and women but there was a period of about five years when I only dated women, and did not notice men at ALL. Then suddenly it was like a switch flipped and I found myself really into guys again, and now I am married to one, which people from my past think is super weird...
People don't usually see sexuality as being as fluid as I do. They always wanted to call me a lesbian and I said I was queer, and when I started dating guys again suddenly I was "straight". No, I'm still queer! Right now I would say I'm about equally attracted to men and women.
I think it might be hormonal and also have noticed that as I got older and my biological clock started ticking I was more attracted to men, probably because my body is telling me to make babies. Anyway, right now I am about equally attracted to men and women but who knows, it might change at any time!

Off topic, but I'm noticing that as I get close to menopause (I am 39) my biological clock is going haywire. I've had relatives and even platonic male friends tell me that I seem baby obsessed. I never noticed it before but people are telling me this so I assume it to be obvious. I strongly suspect this is why the man I love is being goofy because he is so afraid I'll get pregnant and right now neither of us can afford it (and I won't until I find a good job again). I've heard that when women get towards their early 40's they really have the clock ticking, especially since it's pretty rare to have a baby past 45 naturally. I know many women who had no intention of having kids and they even started getting the urges (theirs passed eventually).

haha Ive posted about this exact thing before ages ago. Im a total lesbo on the pill (well not total because I still bang men but more out of duty rather than desire). But when off the pill I become a total hornbag for men. Not even attractive men! Its like I just want them all. Maybe even all at once. haha. I lose most of my interest in women. Back on the pill now so enjoying some fem times![]()

I remember reading that it's quite common for people to be attracted to a different type when they're on the pill. It changes your hormones and tricks your body into thinking it's pregnant which is the reason for a lot of the side effects.
I'm not really good at the whole explaining science stuff but I'll give it a whirl. When your body thinks its pregnant it's not looking for a mate anymore but rather people that can comfort you - this is also why your sex drive is likely to drop.
I'm gonna make the assumption that seeing as you were already attracted to women it kind of makes sense to turn towards them more as your body is looking for more maternal influences for the 'child' and does this by scent/pheromones - possibly thrown in with a bit of subconscious distrust for men commonly adopted in our line of work.
Now that you're off it your attractions have switched back to looking for a mate again putting males back in the picture and there's bound to be a period of imbalance (a.k.a insane horniness) as your hormones readjust.
That would be my bet anyway. I don't like labels either, I say just do what feels natural and don't stress about it too much.
