    Default Upper Arm/ Tricep Fat

Hey! So this is a big problem area for me. I work my triceps until they beg for mercy 3 days a week (other 2-3 are cardio days to try and get rid of general fat assed-ness) BUT despite my arms toning up well in general, the tops still look......squishy.... I HATE it! Its almost above the tricep area I think... just the very top/ back of my arms wont tone up! Am I doing it wrong?? I do tricep extensions and kickbacks, and the ones where it kindof looks like youre trying to start a lawnmower lol. And Im doing shoulder/ deltoid exercises. I do 4 sets of 12 to 15 reps with weights at like 70% of max. Im afraid to go heavier and do fewer reps because I tend to bulk up like a dude!! Thoughts?

I have an easy curves boobs fixer thing and although my boobs look the exact same my arms are great now... but it sounds like you're at a higher fitness level than I am so idk how it would work for you, but it gave me a workout- I was sweating and everything (so sad lol)

SAME PROBLEM! I feel you... I bulk up just as fast too and although I can tell that they're toned, there's a layer of fat covering them. I suppose only overall fatloss will help.. (at least for me, don't know about your size/weight etc.)

Buffed arms are actually a good thing. Mines are very big, bigger than many guys I've known, and many guys think strong chicks are sexy.

Do you do pole moves? if you don't START USING THE POLE ASAP!!!!!!

Fat accumulating in that area is due to genetics. The only way to decrease the size of that area is by all around weight loss. You can do as many exercises to target that specific area but you still won't get the desired results you're looking for. Up the cardio or consult a doctor for lipo.

Your probably working out the wrong part, you might want to consider doing and exercise to tone the area by your bra strap and in arm pit. Your problem is from wear your muscles overlap, and also the arms won't ever be fully conditioned until your back/sides are. Think of your core and work your way out.
I agree with the pole. My arms are NEVER fat and often look too skinny as long as I have a pole around me.

thats exactly the spot! haha armpit fat... Well it sounds like just continuing cardio and all over weight loss is the best bet. I wish I had a pole in my house to practice/ work out on!

This is pretty much what I was going to say. You can spot tone but you cannot spot fat loss. That has to come from overall fat loss reduction through diet/cardio. We've all heard this before but in my experience it remains true: Diet is 80% of how you look. Cardio and weights pick up the rest and like AriahsPariah said, lipo is an option too.

SuckMyKiss, this is a community message board. I gave a valid reply in response to her question. Waste of money? Not permanent? Are you speaking from experience hunny? Finding a reputable doctor, taking care of yourself post-surgery, and including a healthier diet and lifestyle making sure your money isn't going to waste isn't lazy. It's called taking advantage of the technology we have today to better our self esteem. High self esteem=great money in the club.

One more thing. A cleaner diet is a given. Weight loss does not equal muscle loss. In fact, incorporating a regimen with weights and cardio combined will help shed more calories. Muscle building raises metabolism, therefore aiding in overall weight loss.

Removing fat... how can that possibly be permanent? If she doesn't take care of herself NOW then how is she going to keep up with that? Is she all of a sudden going to have a clean diet after the lipo? Probably not. Why not start all that NOW to AVOID lipo?.
I threw out in my first reply that lipo is an OPTION. Besides, weren't you the one who posted something about being on that Girl Fund thread trying to get money from guys so you can get your tits done? In my opinion that still having someone "mess with your body" and even LAZIER on your part to just have dudes send you money instead of hustling your ass off in the club to make that money on your own. Please hunny, don't be a hypocrite and know that what I write on these boards are valid points. No need for an argument. Ok?

Secondly, the OP posted specifically about her upper arms. You shouldn't be assuming that she has problems in other places. Like I said in my first reply, it's a genetic factor.

Right now Im loving the tracy anderson mat workout for my arms, she has some really interesting moves that work accessory muscles in your arms as well as major muscle groups. I think she has some free vids on youtube you can try out.
