Default do managers ask you what shifts you are available?

or do you have to just hope you're scheduled for when you can actually come in? Im in class during the day, and im keeping my part time job at the health food store (but only working once a week or every other week-my boss there is VERY lieniant). If you tell them you cant work certain days or hours, do they just roll their eyes? whats the policy at most clubs? will i never be on the schedule if i have specific times that i cant work and they just dont want to deal with it? if they schedule me for when im supposed to be in class i wont come and they'll fire me!

Some clubs have schedules, some clubs don't. Most club will be understanding if you're a student. No one can really tell you more other than the club you are interested in working at, why don't you ask them?

Yeah it can really vary from club to club.

For example, my first club was really small, and when I started there were like 5 other girls who regularly worked. They wanted me every day I was available. Whenever I told them I needed a day off the owner would usually question me about it but I always got it. It was a little unfair, though, because all the other girls pretty much just came as the pleased. They were a lot more strict with me.

My club now has no schedule at all. I just have to work 4 hours minimum, and be there before 10
(or pay extra housefees). Once when we were short on girls they asked me to stay late, or if its early in the day they might call and ask girls to come in, but they can't make us.

So yeah, you'd be better off just asking the club.
