    Dizzy webcam photos.

my microsoft HD 720p webcam dont have a timer to take pics, which i find profoundly annoyin wen i wanna do some quick shots without gettin my camera out an set up.

I use a free program called ImageGrab-then I shoot a short video with my webcam, holding different poses, then use the ImageGrab to pull off the pictures I want.It doesn't take long at all to do this-and I also use it with all my existing videos to get pictures as well.
I know that's not exactly what you asked for,but I have found it the easiest way for me to get pictures-hope that helps.

I can only offer advice on the C910. There is a 3 second delay which just ain't long enough, so what I do is use a wireless mouse and either keep it out of the shot, toss it out of the way, or have it hidden by my body before the pic is taken.

I'm not 100% but I think the camsplitter softwares have a delay. Aside from that, I remember hearing something about camsoft?

Either way a quick google should do the trick!

    This.

I would be 100% happy with my Logitech C910 if it had the self-timer like my lesser quality E3500 had.

Oh, there IS a timer on it? I didn't see it. And I agree that 3 seconds ain't long enough, but I guess I'll have to work with that.

It's not free to download, but definitely worth the money is very soft webcamsplitter (I use the pro version cos you can use that with more than one cam). It keeps the high quality and you can take multiple timed snapshots (8 seconds delay between each). Just set your cam as the source and press timed snapshot. You can also use it to watermark and of course split the cam feed.

Do you use the webcamsplitter, or webcamsplitter pro?
