So, I recently ended up with a stubborn sinus infection, that eventually migrated to ear infection, and while taking meds, became bronchitis.
With my first round of antibiotics, it didn't kill it, so they extended the time I was taking it. When it was all said and done, I ended up taking about 20 days of it instead of the original 10.
What I noticed, and was pleasantly surprised by, was the side effects. In the three weeks I was on it, I felt wonderful, not bogged down even though I was still sick, I didn't get nauseous after I ate, and the BIG ONES - I had absolutely no acne anywhere for the first time since I was 12 (i literally cried when I saw my skin.. it was so pwetty and I had never seen it like that before) and I had a normal period, something I haven't experienced since about 13/14 yrs old.
Anyone else had this happen? Any idea what might have been wrong that the antibiotic fixed? Now that I'm off the medicine, I'm back to normal with painful acne on my chest and face (near my ears, jaw, and forehead) blackheads everywhere, have a period that lasts 10 days or more and only a week or two break between, etc. BC doesn't fix this issue. Makes it worse.
I'm just ready to be healthy and normal.
