    Lightbulb Bitch-ify Me!

I'm too nice at the club. I'm not agressive or pushy. I don't really know how to be. I think having a bitchier attitude could improve my earnings.

What do I do? What bitchy techniques have worked for you?

Girl, your mouth is fine the way it is! You say the most witty, acerbic stuff. You have to get comfortable being your sassy self with the customers. They will eat it up! Also, pick up a copy of Why Men Hate Bitches by Sherry Argov. She breaks down the psychology and techniques of being "bitchy" with guys.

Thanks, I will definitely check out that book.

However... I need to work on developing some bitchy qualities. Being nice just isn't working out. Maybe a bit of an edge will pay off.

I dunno... at this point I'm willing to try anything.

For me, bitchyness came in time. When I first started dancing I was very sweet and shy. Not the case now.

Do what works in your favour.

Be nice, flirty but also pushy, those worked the best for me. Im nice in the start (intro), I am ALWAYS flirting, then after intro I get busy whether its getting answers out of them, or into talking, then push for dances..

I tried being bitchy, it doesnt seem to work for me. Touching, being close, flirting and acting interested in a customer worked best for me.

When I do bitchy/pushy/aggressive, it just comes off as desperate. If I'm in the right mood for it or have had a drink or two I can do sassy and cheeky, maybe try that before trying full bitch mode.

But yeah, as other girls have said do what works for you. You can be nice and still make money, just make sure you're not being too nice by letting them waste your time, letting them know you have to work isn't rude. If I've been talking to a guy for 5-10 minutes I don't ask him for a dance, I tell him he's coming for one while grabbing his hand, looking him dead in the eye and giving him a cheeky smile. If he doesn't I let him know I have to keep working and move on.

Is it a confidence issue? Perhaps just work on being more assertive. Change your attitude, you're doing them a favour by giving them an amazing dance from a super-hot chick, not them doing you a favour choosing to take you.

Not sure if anything I've written is really helpful but that's how I increased my sales after being too nice was getting me nowhere. Still wish I could pull of bitchy but just doesn't work for me and probably never will.

Have you done DW classes. They break down when to ramp up the bitchiness. Pretty much whatever vibe they're giving you is what you give back. I practiced with customers and even ordinary guys I met in the course of the day. Just keep practicing until you get comfortable. You're so funny that you really could turn that into your specialty. Groups of guys love funny dancers. As soon as I see a bachelor party or vacationing group I turn on the sassiness with the whole table. You may feel more comfortable turning on your bitchiness with a group instead of one-on-one.
