    Default Ugh

I'm so frustrated with myself that I let myself get so out of shape in the past three months over the holidays . My stomach is the worst area. I hate that I gain weight there. I was looking good before (first pic) in October, but now I look so out of shape. I can't believe I let myself get like this in 3 MONTHS . I WILL get back to looking like the first picture. The 3rd picture is me sucking it in, and I'm still not happy with that, because I look flabby and still have a gut even though I'm holding it in . The last picture is when I'm relaxing and not sucking it in, which is completely horrible . It's worse because I'm short, so it looks bad if I even gain 5 lbs. I don't know how much I weigh, though, now, and I don't want to know because I'll just be mad.

I do not feel comfortable going back to work looking like this. What do you all do to lose weight quickly? Should I feel okay going to work if I have to, or would you all stay home (if you could afford it) until you lose the weight? Am I just over reacting? Please be honest.

Yes, you're overreacting. Go back to work. That will at least bring you in some money. And you WILL make money because you're not fat, gross, chubby or whatever else you might think up. You still look thin. If you're after the toned look like before, do a lot of pole tricks that work those muscles and also start working out again. p90x is awesome for this.

But still... you're only losing money by staying at home. If it bothers you so much that it may affect your confidence, just wear outfits that are the most flattering and don't accentuate your stomach. You said you're short, so try mini dresses that draw attention to your legs and make them look longer. They will cover your stomach.

You're cute and wallets will open for you. Go have fun emptying them.

I'm short too and understand. I wouldn't be able to go in if I was a few lbs over my ideal either. Not that you look bad, you don't, it's just hard to get on stage unless you feel your best.

I used to go only fruits and veggies Mon-Fri while working out hard to lose weight quickly (back before I was a veggie I tried all lean protein and salad, but didn't have nearly as noticable results). You'll lose weight and tone up super fast, like droping a size in 7-10 days, just make sure you incorporate edamame, roasted soy nuts, protein rich veggies and small amounts of legumes so you end up lean and tight not flabby/skinny.

I always lose weight when I start working again! Just watch what you drink, as alcohol can be loaded with calories.

Drink only water and unsweetened tea. Lay low on the alcohol. NO juice or sodas or anything sugary. Go to yoga, lots of yoga. Run, hit the gym...whatever you like to do. Eat relatively well. Do the eating daily, work out 3-4 times a week.

Start back dancing now, it also burns lots of calories if you aren't chugging sugary booze. You'll see the results in 2 weeks, MAX, if you do all of the above.

I think SlimFast is good for losing weight quickly. I've found jumping rope to be one of the best exercises for burning calories.

I think you look good. I wouldn't worry about going in to work like that.
