Default Reliable site for hair weaves

Since there's no beauty stores in this little crappy town (besides a Sally's...an hour away...and I don't really like their stuff anyway)...does anyone know of a good site that has human hair weaves?

(I take the weaves, and sew the clips in myself.)

I found a few on google, That one seems to have a good variety of hair. Has anyone ever ordered from them?

I'm also nervous about making sure I get the right hair color. I mean, I guess if anything, I can just dye it. I've done that before with past hair.

I just want some straight 18inch human hair. If anyone has any advice on a good site, with a good selection of colors, I'd really appreciate it.

    THANK YOU!

I usually get mine from either an ethnic beauty shop or ebay. With ebay, check the sellers feedback to make sure there's no quality issues with the hair and always look for "Virgin Remy/Remi" as that indicates the highest quality. Remy or Remi is still good, but more processed. Anything not labeled like that means the cuticle isn't aligned top to bottom and it's been dipped in acid to remove it. This hair will lose it's shine after a few washes and start to tangle. (however, clip in hair doesn't get slept on and may last longer)

All that only applies to human hair. Can you go into a salon and get color matched and then order based on the number they give you?

Sorry if you knew all that stuff already.

I was just about to post something about this!! I just want clip ins though..not a whole weave.
I was looking into ebay...its certainly alot cheaper.
Im just worried bc I have SUPER light blonde hair.. Like its almost white.
I havent been able to find extensions that are that light...can I bleach them then? Its real hair so I should be able to right?

Not sure if you found what you are looking for yet. Let me know if not. I know of a place that you can call and place the order for hair. They will overnite it or just regular ground mail it. They guarantee the hair for a year. They have a very large variety of colors and styles and lengths. I have my hair for a year and can still get another good 3 months use out of it. I get sew ins and sleep in it as well. I dont wrap it at night either. So basic fyi says I'm just not real gentle on it.
I've been to this womans salon/store it was wonderful. Let me know if you need the info to order. All you need to know is your color #.

Extensions are very processed unless you get the virgin remy. IT's much harder to lighten extensions than darken them. Try searching for #60, I believe that is white blonde.

Edit: livingdeadgirl, I meant to quote you for this post but forgot to. #60 might work for you. Avery, did you end up going blonde or are you still dark haired? (that was you that was changing colors, right?)

    Decided to go lighter.
I think I'm going to hold off until I reach my desired hair color. Right now, it's at a red, so waiting a few weeks before I lighten it again. Hopefully it will go blonde then.

So I guess once I reach a color I'm happy with, I'll get some new hair. Not like I have anywhere to go anyway, just wanted it to feel "sexy" during my pregnancy.
So I can be a little more patient.

Thanks for all the help and advice ladies. <3

    xoxo

I get mine off of Ebay and have actually had great luck. I make sure to check the reviews and that it is 100% Human hair. My color is #22 and I always get about 20 inches ~ usually I can get it for about half price. I also like to buy a bit of #613 to highlight during the summer. That's why I love making my own clip in's!

Sally's carries some extension hair as well ~ not positive on the quality though as it has been a while since I bought hair from there.

Your hair color, super light almost white, sounds like a 613 which is bleach blonde. Try www.texasbeautysupply.com or www.rpgshow.com. TexasBS sells bulk and weft hair of differing qualities depending on how much $ you are trying to spend. RPGshow sells lacefront/full lace wigs but they also sell hair in bulk(loose with no weft). The quality of their hair is very high. It is all remy hair. It is not cheap, but very worth the price and they have excellent customer service.
Thank Goodness I smartened up! The old me is dead and gone.

i know this sounds naive, but if i wanted to wear a weave/wig is there one that i can just put on and take off for work? i love my natural hair, which is super curly, but i feel like long straight hair would make me more money...i have no idea how to use this stuff! lol

With the weaves, I just sew my own clips in so they're like the clip ins. You can clip them in and out for work.
And wigs, yeah, I use to wear wigs all the time at work. I would put it in before I left the house, and when I came home, took it off.

They have half wigs..(which I loved because they looked more natural to me)...they kinda clip in. And then you brush your bangs/hair back over the line.

It's definitely a fun and easy way to change your look.
