    I would actually say that yes, you can have too many girls. I know a lot of managers that will just let as many girls in as want to work that night, but there are a couple issues that I have seen with that;

    1. It pisses off the girls. No one wants to work at a club where there are more girls than customers, or where there is no loyalty to the girls that show up regularly, on time, etc. This will lead to the "best" (i.e. the ones that view this as a career) will be more likely to leave for another club that treats the girls well. Clubs are catching on to this, and the "best" are starting to have amazing dressing rooms, perks, etc.

    2. It pisses off the customers! This seems counter intuitive, but guys don't want to sit surrounded by dozens of girls looking sulky because there are not enough customers. They also don't want to feel like they are being thrown to the lions when they walk in and those dozens of girls all start moving toward them to start hustling. I remember working at a club with waaay too many girls and they had to have bouncers watch over the guys to make sure the rule of "wait till they have a drink on the table before approaching" was followed. It got to the point that there would be ten girls hovering over a table, and as soon as the drink was set down, the poor guy would be mobbed.

Guys want a good experience, with hot girls, a chance to watch the stage, chat a little bit with their buddies, and get approached by those hot girls in a decent amount of time. If there are too few girls on, no one is getting approached, not enough dances are taking place, and the guys feel like they have to hunt for a dancer. But too many, and they feel like a bread crust thrown to the pigeons....and that is not an experience that they would want to repeat!

    ^ Ditto.

It always baffles me how no one takes morale seriously. If the girls aren't happy, the customers aren't happy. No one wants to spend money at a club full of miserable strippers.

Guys also hate the desperation girls will show in this situation. At my last club, there were girls who would see a customer walk in and literally RUN across the club to try and beat each other at approaching the customer first. The winner would be pushing for a dance before the guy had even taken off his jacket or sat down. That's a huge turn-off for most guys.

My club is the size of a shoebox and they will cram 65+ girls in there on weekend nightshift! There's only ten VIP booths and one small couch room. It's ridiculous, I don't even know how everybody fits. They don't give a fuck though, the tipout is really high and based on how much you make, so the more girls working the more house fees and tips they receive.

Thats another thing about it - my club is TINY and on busy nights the girls will be lining up outside to get a dance. I can't tell you how many guys have changed their mind after waiting 10 minutes to go in and get the damn dance...I personally would love to see a situation where there are no more than twice the number of girls than booths...but you're right - most management thinks that more girls = more money for them. Even if it does in the short term, I wish they would think about the club as a whole in the long term...

from the point of view of almost every manager in the industry apparently, fuck no you can't have too many girls in the club. it's housefees

from a smart manager's point of view, fuck yes you can. the more sharky and competitive girls are, the more quality customers stop coming in. the more desperate the girls get. the more cheapasses and jerks you get. and a lot of the cheapasses and jerks are also the types who cause trouble. and desperate girls increase the chance there'll be a bust.

however, from a greedy assed club owner's standpoint, every additional girl paying house fees and mandatory tipouts means more 'revenue' !

^ true thats what i think. however in the end it will be loss of money coz the girls who could turn guys into regulars can be cut off by chatty newbies like at my club and lose a return customer. also had a lot of guys walk away from the shower show because theres only one and on sat nights there can be a 3 hour wait

This is such a perfect example of short-term thinking! But you are so right - managers just think that way...the more girls they have in, the more money in their pocket. Until the club goes downhill, and they are left with the skankiest girls and one-time customers that never come back because it is miserable and full of cut throat women who hound them the minute they walk in...

Who else thinks that the girls understand the mechanics of a strip club so much better than the average manager?

As a dancer I think yes there can be too many girls. If I was an owner of a club, honestly I would hire more than what I think as a dancer is needed. More girls working for you= more $$$ as a manager. as a dancer more girls= less$$$. I would be pickier though than most clubs seem to be. I have seen some girls that I couldn't even believe came in to audition let alone got hired!! But thats just my personal opinion. It takes all kinds of different types of girls to please all the customers. Because what I think is beautiful, may not be to the person sitting next to me!

I think it most cases, management wants to put on as much as they can so they can ^ their $.

In some cases though, I think clubs could also lose money.....Especially if you have the small club setup where girls have to wait for booths or spots to open up. I know I remember one story on here about how a girl had to wait for 2-3? hours and then I think her customer might have left because he was so frustrated.....That custie might never return after that.

Just like that old fable about The Golden Goose and getting too greedy.......

I would love it if we could get a few strip club owners/managers to give their opinion on this thread.

My manager told me that for every 3 girls hired we keep 1.

As a smart manager's point of view - YES there can be too many girls
